[TX] My boss keeps sending texts making fun of my appearance
I have a big forehead. I know this. I can see it. People have commented on it before. It’s not crazy large, but it’s a little bigger than the norm. My boss, the president of our company, will not stop making fun of it. He sends texts, emails, makes comments in person. Today, we interviewed a woman for a role in legal who went to the same high school as I did. The school name starts with an H. He sent these texts afterward in a group chat asking if it’s the ‘H___ Hairline’ with a photo he took from the meeting. Should I go to HR about this? I tried to just deal with it but my gosh it’s nonstop.

A few days ago, an adult German Shepherd showed up on our road. We are out in a rural area, so dogs are dumped constantly. She was skiddish, but I fed her and gave her water. I finally built up enough trust over three days for her to take morning walks with me and bring me sticks to play with. She knows sit, lay down, stay.. I definitely think she was someone’s pet.
I got her in the car yesterday (jumped right in) and took her to the vet to have her checked out. She’s underweight, and has heartworms. They said the load of heartworms in high because the blood sample had lots of artifacts and I had them do an xray and they said her heart looks slightly enlarged due to the worms.
I live rurally, so we have a vet but they are pretty basic. She told me the dog needs antibiotics for 30 days, then off the antibiotics for 30 days.. then we can either do slow kill with heartworm meds or we can do the injection kill but she will need to be on strict crate rest for two months.
My husband and I both work full time and travel, and have two kids and three other dogs. I’m not sure how we would do crate rest to that extent. However in looking at the slow kill, it seems that is not actually an endorsed method of getting rid of the heartworms.
Any advice on which method to pursue? Money isn’t a limiting factor, I’ll get her well however we need to. I am hoping to place her in a good home but am willing to foot the bill to get her better even if she goes to someone else.
