Hi,

I'm on macOS 26.5 (newest as of this post). I have a DualSense controller.

I have a strange issue with games that require me to use Steam Input. Games that only support Xbox controllers, etc.

I noticed that to get Steam Input to work, I have to

1. Start game
2. Disable steam input
3. Close game
4. Start game again
5. Enable steam input

Only then does it works.

If I then close the game with Steam Input enabled. It will not work after starting the game again. I have to again start the game, disable Steam Input, close the game, start the game, and enable Steam Input. Every time. Restarting Steam or MacBook doesn't help.

Is there any workaround to get Steam Input to work more consistently on macOS:

It is already 11 days since I ordred my Steam Controller on 5th and it is still not shipped.

What about yours?
