My 6-year-old Raindrop Peperomia

I’ve had this big mamma for around six years and she’s easily one of my favorite plants. Since repotting. Lost a few of her oldest bottom leaves recently, but she’s still putting out beautiful dark-green growth at the top and has started growing little babies from the base.
I honestly love how weird and tree-like she’s become with age.
Anyone here have an older raindrop pep? I’d love to see what these guys look like at 10+ years.

Lost all it leaves and came back verigated

This baby was almost killed by being potted in a plastic lined weaved pot with rocks in the bottom. Apparently it didn’t like being constantly wet and suffocated at the roots all the time?!
All leaves died over a month and now after 4-5 months as a sad little stump I’m being rewarded for my repot and watering attention.

Okay what is that!

Previous post I mentioned the dying leaves cause I’ve only been looking in the front behind they have dark and brown spots. it’s still on these old tired leaves and the rest of my peperomia polybotria is teaming with new growth.

My raindrop pep is dying?

Story is that this raindrop peperomia I’ve had for 6 years is starting to shed some older leaves. I mean probably 4 years old at this point those leaves are.
So I’m probably guessing its shedding older leaves to priorizize new growth, since its summer and its getting tons of light. So there is loads of growth on top is going crazy and a lil baby shoot in the bottom (not pictured)
Also it was repotted from it’s original soil and has been getting a lil less water maybe that’s why?
Also how old can peps get? I’ve always wanted to see a super old one.

TLDR: its 6 years, repotted and set with more light in the summer. Dying or killing 4 year old leaves to prioritze growth?

Close ups og my raindrop pep thriving at the moment

Just that I mean just like have a look at the sprouting its just so amazing! Never seen this type of growth in my baby in years, like 3-5 years of slow growth. Now I’ve got all this, just starting summer growing season.

Thought this was a Pilea peperomioides but now I’m thinking maybe Peperomia? Recently repotted and staked. Any ID help appreciated.

This is my baby boo my love and favorite plant!!! It’s been mine for 5 years or so and has moved from, my dank teenage room. To my first apartment where she’s lived a year. Totally different light situation and she’s growing in so beautifully and I’m so proud!!!!!!

I can’t believe my big mamma has such a small root ball

This is my 5 year old raindrop Pilea with no name which I adopted at 16. Its first four years were spent in a pretty dark teenage room and there for it makes HUGE leaves.
Anyways now I’ve got it in a nice sunny window and shes growing like never before!! Today I went to repot and I am just amazed at how tiny the roots are (banana for scale) they took up 20% of the original pot. The soil had never been changed as well so I was genuinely expecting it to be root bound.XD
She’s in a smaller pot with all fresh soil and Leca pearls. Looking forward to see her settle in to a fresh pot half the size.
