Lidl not giving full contracted hours

Hiya, so im contracted at 15 hours per week and im only getting 6 hours or 12 hours max per week. Is this illegal? Do lidl not have to follow their own contract and what can I do to fix it?

Sorry for sounding a bit dumb, thanks reddit!

Would i be able to move out at 18 in my current situation? (UK)

I have two part time jobs where I earn roughly £1.5k per month and I am on universal credit. The reason I have two part time jobs is because I am still in education.

Im in a tricky situation where i sort of (im not sure yet) need to move out of where I live due to big family problems. Problem is that obviously im young and i dont know what to do or what i need to consider.

I know little tidbits like landlords want a stable income and want non smokers but is anyone else able to give me some advice or information as to what I need to do?

(Forgot to include) shared housing is not an option for me

I suspect i have chronic fatigue and only two specific energy drinks help

Hiya!

Sorry if I sound uninformed as I write this. Im not getting support or help from any medical professionals due to them blaming my symptoms on mental health despite me telling them otherwise. Im basically just seeking support and advice from people who actually have chronic fatigue.

Around 3 months ago, I started feeling really fatigued out of nowhere, I was out of work and did not have an actual reason to be that tired. I ignored it as much as I could for about a month because I put it up to me being dramatic, but now that im back in work it feels like I just cannot function.

Its taking so much mental work to even understand what someone is saying to me verbally, its taking so much of my energy to even just walk to work or even cook for myself and even just taking up so much energy to plan out my day (when im going to shower, eat etc). I genuinely dont know whats going wrong, ive tried sleeping more and less, i was physically healthy when this started, Ive been making better food choices, I dont know whats wrong or why no one, not even my GP is helping me.

Im tired all the time, I have to sit to shower most of the time now and I can only manage to make toast for myself now and I cant even go to the gym unless I dont have work or plans because ill be exhausted afterwards.

The only thing that sort of puts a blanket over the fatigue is monster mango loco and the big (500ml) cans of og redbull and i obviously cant depend on them because theres only so much caffeine the body can take on.

I need advice on what to even do, im not diagnosed with anything chronic but when I went to urgent care (UK) (111 told me to go there as my GP surgery said to me on the phone that they cant help me) they said they dont deal with anything chronic related even though I was there to try to get help to be sedated for a blood test (extreme needle phobia).

Im really sorry for this post as im aware that my issues are not as bad as anyone here but I really need help and im running out of options.

Any sort of advice or anything will be really appreciated

Travelling to other countries with testogel

Hi guys! So im visiting Ireland somewhat soon from the UK and im just wondering if the letter on the hub that you can buy stating that you need the medication wont get my Tgel apprehended by security? Thanks

Which type of Tgel is the most easiest to use?

For context, im on Testogel 16.2mg atm but I find having to rub it in using my hands is really annoying as even if I wash my hands, it ends up transferring to different surfaces and it takes awhile for it to dry

How to deal with asshole manager?

So i started last month as a cleaner, i was trained in the wrong stuff for the first 2/3 weeks and I only started the cleaning schedule training last week (this is for context)

One of the managers seems to just have it out for me. If the openers are a bit slow on getting the stock out, I obviously get held a bit behind but this manager blames it on me and gives out to me. He also belittles me and treats me as if im a small child who doesnt know how to wipe a counter.

Today he also told me to go complete the weekly task, which I went to do, then he came out like 5 minutes later and started being condescending, saying "im so sorry YOU misunderstood" when apparently I was meant to do something else first which he didn't tell me. Also if I ask him to repeat something because I didn't catch it, he starts the belittlement again, if I start a task, he starts complaining on how I'm doing it.

Once I had to scrub the milk fridge floor because it was nasty and he came up to me and started saying I was doing it wrong and I needed to use the big blade (the thing you use to remove stuck stickers, I can't remember the name of it lol), when i said I found my method easier and faster and that I find the big blade thing harder to use, he just laughed at me.

I genuinely dont know what to do, im trying to just ignore it and scream into a pillow when j get home but it just seems like hes trying to push me out as even the store manager doesn't have any issue with me. Is this even something that HR will do anything about?

Advice regarding wrong uniform

Hiya! I joined the company recently and I got given a supervisors uniform for my first shift (when I am a customer assistant) so me and the manager reordered the uniform.

I put my sizes in the male section, got it ordered and then when I opened the bag, it was in ladies sizes, so I requested for it to be reordered again but yesterday when it came in, it was also in ladies sizes.

For a bit of background info, I am a transgender man, so im not too sure if its a case of the distributor thinks theres been a mistake on the uniform order sheet and sent a ladies uniform or what's happening. I obviously cant keep wearing a supervisors uniform.

Does anyone know what i can do? Even besides my gender, ladies sizes dont fit me anymore due to HRT, and ive said that to the mangers every time we reordered the uniform. Do I need to contact HR or what am I meant to do?

GCSES vs The Junior Cert/Cycle?

This post is in relation to the previous one I made awhile ago!

So after reviewing all the information I was given and already had (from sitting GCSES this year, the Junior cert/cycle in 2024 and doing 5th year in Ireland before I moved), it still doesn't make much sense to me.

GCSES (a level 2 education in the UK) are extremely similar to the JC (from when I did my JC), however not at the same level as some stuff I learnt from the LC were also in my GCSES.

However on that topic, they're still different, as the colleges in the area that im in in the UK (not disclosing for obvious reasons), consider the LC as a GCSE equivalent, and needed to move up to A-Levels (a level 3 education in the UK). Which i find a tad bit odd as, for example, before I moved to the UK, I took chemistry as one of my LC subjects.

In learning how orbital are arranged it was the S,P, D... etc etc instead of 2, 8 etc etc (like how it is in the JC and GCSES)

So my question is, without judgement on either ways of how education is taught in either countries, what is the actual difference between GCSES and the Junior Cert/Cycle that makes some(or most, im not sure the actual statistic) colleges in the UK not consider the JC as an equivalent of GCSES?

Ps, thank you for the answers on the previous post, they did help but im more or less just asking for more clarification :)

What level of education is the Junior cert?

I completed my JC in Ireland in 2024, i moved to the UK and needed to do a gcse course to further my education however it got me thinking about it.

GCSES are a level 2 education, so is the Leaving cert. But theres zero information online about the actual junior cert education level.

Im a bit thick so I cant figure it out on my own, but thanks in advance guys!

(EDIT) I've been told by my College in the UK that the LC is equivalent to GCSE, and given no information on the Junior cert. I also did the new junior cycle since I took the exam in 2024

URGENT, what happens is i miss the membership subscription for 3 days

I only get paid on the 24th and my membership subscription for gendergp is due on the 21st.

If I dont pay it on time, will there be consequences or whst will happen?

I use a debit card, not a credit card, so its not possible for ggp to take the money out of my account if its not there
