7037BB vs 7027 (white gold, 37mm)

Got to check out the new novelty 7037bb at the boutique the other day, such an incredible watch. This is my 7027 in white gold next to it. And the second pic with the 7037 on my 6.5” wrist.

Ever since they announced this model, I have been thinking about “upgrading” my 7027. Not only is it far more sporty, it just improved on every part of the 7027 and is far more striking and handsome. The only thing that didn’t improve is the price!

I entertained the prior gen 7037 bc I loved the retrograde second complication so much. But the 38mm wears more like a 40mm bc of straight lugs and no bezel (and case being not-thin/barrel shaped) and it just was too much watch. Despite the new one being the same 38mm, I’d be willing to overlook it just given how awesome it is.

Anyone own one yet? Or had the opportunity to see in person? Curious your thoughts and experiences with it or any of the new novelty line…. Breguet has had a great last year.

Cheers

Third party bracelet for B31 Top Time? (Or pre-owned for sale?)

Good afternoon,

Does anyone have a third-party recommendation for a bracelet that would fit the new-ish B31 Top Time line? I think I’d prefer all brushed but polished center link recs are fine too! Will take what I can get. Something 20mm with a taper in the 3-link/oyster style….

Breitling charges so much for a new one so hoping there are alternatives. I can’t seem to find pre-owned OEM ones individually for sale so if you have one or know someone selling/willing to sell one, kindly let me know…

Thank you!

[Serica] which of these two “luxury beaters” would you add to this collection, 6190-MSL1 vs 8315-2?

Which of these two Serica watches would you choose to add to this 8 watch collection?

I am looking to add one more $2.5k or less Sericas to my collection as I’ve found that I do not like wearing particularly fancy, dressy, and/or more expensive watches when I’m dicking around at home, walking to the grocery store, going to my kids little league games etc. And yes, I’m aware that G-shocks exist.

You can see that the collection does not have any black or brown/red dials. It also does not have a GMT. My other field “luxury beater” here is my navy Weiss which I adore. Ignore the bracelet part of the question as I actually already own a Serica bonklip. I’d be switching this new Serica on and off different bracelets and straps.

I feel like one is more versatile and the other is more interesting. It makes sense to have a “never can go wrong” watch for this role which is certainly better filled by the black 6190. But I also like being excited to wear my watches and I feel the 8315 brings a lot more of that joy. But would I be able to throw it on whenever quite like the 6190?

First world problems I know, but I’d like to hear the group’s thoughts.

Thanks and cheers!

Somehow the swapped “6” and “18” on the GMT bezel got through the Chinese factory’s QC which is really just an old pig that snorts if the watch passes.
