Is my fish decoration haunted?

My axolotl died in my tank with this decoration. This was also his favorite spot. We cleaned the decoration after he died Becuase I will be using it for my shrimp tank. Is this weird?

This fish decoration is making my dog bark at it like it’s a ghost or something else.

This was a decoration for my axolotl a few years ago. It was his favorite decoration and he always was in it. He died last year and my dog seems to be barking at it for no reason.
