is doing bba offline worth it?

confused a little
I've estimated total expenses including fees and everything around 20-23lakhs in 3 years if i join christ.
there is a online bba degree of christ which is of 3lakhs rs only.
i can prep for some abroad uni entrance or cfa prof course (offline)

18, commerce background, 70% in boards, gap year before college.

hey everyone

I'm 18, from Rajasthan, commerce stream, got 70% in my boards this year. Taking a gap year before starting college next year , not out of compulsion, I just didn't want to jump straight into 4 years without figuring out what I actually want and building something real in the meantime. My family has a business background (FMCG), so I've grown up around that world. I'm genuinely interested in finance and business , already started going through Zerodha Varsity and made some early investments.
I want to use this year to properly upskill and not just float around. The commerce foundation helps a bit, but I know 70% boards doesn't open every door which is exactly why I want this year to count.

Some things I want to know:

  • What courses are actually worth doing during a gap year, doesn't have to be finance, open to anything genuinely useful. Online, offline, short-term, whatever. Just not the ones that are basically paid certificates nobody cares about.
  • Internships — is it even possible to get one as a gap year student with no college ID? Have any of you managed it, and how? Cold emailing, LinkedIn, family network, what actually worked?
  • If you've taken a gap year or know someone who has, what did they actually do with it? Not the highlight reel, the real day-to-day. Did it help or was it mostly wasted time?

Not looking for "just enjoy your gap year bro" advice. I want to actually use this time. Would love to hear from people who've been through this or work in spaces I'm interested in.

thanks in advance
