This is, by far my favourite project I’ve worked on so far

It’s a big enough island that there’s plenty of space for me to do what I want where I want, but it’s small enough to still feel cosy and connected. Can’t wait to get all the buildings done and connect it all up.

I feel guilty for moving away from my starter area 🥺

This is my first time having a forever world, so is it normal to feel bad about moving away from your original area to build something new elsewhere? I’m absolutely loving my latest project though and it’s bringing me so much joy!

Terraforming help!

It’s something I’ve never excelled at and I’m looking to get feedback/tips on how to improve these rocks. I’ve got the lighthouse but there was nothing for the lighthouse to protect against so built the shape from stone then textured the tops (haven’t gone all the way to the sea bed yet).

I’m a little more comfortable when it comes to shaping land, but little outcrops and things sometimes get me.

Island Life

Making a start on the newest area I’m going to create. I was going to make it in a totally different style to the medieval spawn area I have, but I started building and the medieval took over again.

Exploring for sulphur and found the perfect island

Thought I’d go thousands of blocks away from home to find a sulphur cave, but instead stumbled upon this awesome island, so naturally I had to stop and build a lighthouse for safety. Next project unlocked.

1000 Days of Minecraft

Hit the big milestone today. Some shots of all the work I’ve put in over these 1000 days. Some things I’ve tried for the first time, like custom trees, much more expansive “town/village” type areas etc.
It’s also the first time I’ve ever opened all the end portals - never realised how easy the dragon was once you have elytra 😂
Oh and the final screenshot just to show it’s a copy of the world I took the screenshots in. Everything has been done in survival and it’s been a slog.

Day 995!

Coming up on day 1,000 which is the longest I’ve ever spent in any previous world so I’m happy the forever part of my forever world is sticking.

Thinking about sharing some shots of what’s been created in those 1,000 days when I hit it later this week.

Ancient City First Timer

This was my first time coming across/exploring an ancient city and I swear to god my heart started pounding when this ominous tunnel, which felt like it went on forever, covered in skulk appeared.

I hate horror or anything so this was a massive push.

I died 5 times (6 if you include the totem popping) 😂

Almost 1,000 days in and tackling The End

Four more dragon fights, a lot of deep slate tiles, and a lot of copper to go.

Also trying to figure out if it would be more painful covering the whole end island with black concrete rather than trying to mine the island away.

Thank god it’s only 4 stars per kill

But it’s still more ghast tear farming than I enjoy doing

Turned up at my end portal with blocks and a dream. Needs fixing but it’ll do for now.

Ceiling needs raised, side walls need to be much higher, then I’ll probably do proper arches over the ceiling from the stripped dark oak in the walls. Any other comments welcome though as it’s a work in progress.

Starting to enjoy tree building

Love how cute this wee woodland entrance to this house is coming on. Have so many more trees to build, but they’ll come in time.

Oh the lag!!!

My farm broke overnight and I didn’t notice before turning it on. My god the lag was unreal on this one.

Trees. Help!

Anyone got any tips on building trees? Only the front, right is “done” but it just feels impossible to make it look ok

Inside the walls

Starting to get inside the walls fleshed out. The “little” peasant type houses as you enter are maybe a little too big, but we’ll see. Also first time building a house on the diagonal and I’m not sold.

Citadel and surrounding area

This citadel area has really tested my willpower to keep playing in the world because it’s a massive terraforming project and I still have so many hours to go on just getting the levels how I want, not to mention still needing to texture the massive walls going all round.

Slow and steady was the way to go

Turns out I was just fed up the other day. Making more decent progress on the demolition of the area and starting to just put some hints of what I want decoration wise in so I can see the vision
