SimHub can't searching my VAM motor

SimHub can't searching my VAM motor

I have just received and set up my VAM Pro, VAM Neo, and VAM2 set.

In Simsonn Manager, both the pedals and haptics are recognized normally, and everything works and tests without any issues.

However, SimHub is unable to detect the devices, as shown in the attached photo.

I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Switched USB ports

  2. Connected directly to the PC (no USB hub)

  3. Unplugged and re-plugged the power

  4. Completely closed Simsonn Manager

  5. Rebooted the PC

  6. Updated SimHub

Despite trying all of these, SimHub still fails to recognize the VAM motors.

Could you please help me resolve this issue?

Thank you!

I think AMS2's in-game Damping filter is actually pretty good.

Usually, people turn in-game damping off or set it really low to avoid losing fine FFB details.

But damping in AMS2 feels different.

In most sims or wheelbase software, the way damping adds weight feels smooth, but it can often end up feeling a bit rubbery or artificial.

AMS2’s in-game damping, however, doesn’t just feel like a basic self-centering force—it feels much more natural.

It's hard to explain, but if you currently play with damping turned off or only rely on your wheelbase's damping, I highly recommend giving in-game damping a try!

I'm using a Simucube 2 Sport, and when I play AMS2, I keep Simucube's software damping low and rely on the in-game Damping instead.

The difference is especially noticeable on the 'Default+' FFB profile

DanielKart 1.71- Excessive vibration..

Just tried out the DanielKart 1.71 custom FFB, and overall I'm really impressed with it.

However, with certain cars—especially Karts—the vibrations are so intense that my entire rig shakes like a massage chair.

I absolutely love the steering feel and the tire feedback, but the relentless vibration makes driving super fatiguing.

Even after setting the in-game FX slider to 0, the issue persists.

For reference, I'm using a Simucube 2 Sport.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Is this heavy vibration just a typical characteristic of the DK custom FFB profile, or is there a specific setting (in SC Tuner or in-game) I should tweak to tone it down?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Can Pico4 use this VR Pass Through Setup?

As in the photo above, I want to play with my actual wheel and VR screen overlapping.

But the best option I can get right now within my budget is Pico 4 or Quest 3s.

I heard the Pico 4 has an advantage with FOV and edge clarity because it uses pancake lenses.

So I'm currently considering the Pico 4. Is it possible to get the same setup as the photo above on this device? Or should I go for a Meta Quest headset instead?

Could anyone share their thoughts on the NLR ERS3 seat

I'm currently looking into buying the ERS3 Hypercool.

With my previous fixed-back bucket seat,

lumbar support was an absolute must for me.

Does the ERS3 also need lumbar support?

If it does, I'm worried the lumbar cushion might

block some of the cooling fans,

making the Hypercool version a waste of money.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this!
