Tamiya S2000

Tamiya Honda S2000 kit, i hated the wheels the kit came with, it came chromes, so I painted them gloss black instead. I also mixed that paint color up from an assortment of different colors, because I just wanted something different lol.

Tamiya NSX, 1st Gen.

This car was built a few years ago, as were all my models, but I really enjoyed the model hobby overall, Im trying to decide if I should get back into it or not. I want to but at the same time, I feel like I wasn’t really that good anyways. (Not seeking any unwarranted positive reinforcement, only honest opinion)

1st Gen Bronco

I built this a tribute to my grandfather, he and I built this exact vehicle in real life, same color scheme and all. These were the days before 3d printing was really that common, or I’d have added more things. Like wiring, and other little things. But overall it was a great build. And brought back a lot of heavy memories.

Tamiya 300zx

This was a fun little project, sadly, the final assembly pics are gone, somewhere in the great unknown, but it was quite fun.

Frocked interior, added nitrous tank, brembo brakes from the Nismo Skyline kit, it was a 300zx that I’d love to have in the real world.

Fun fact, the headlights from the 300zx were actually used in the Lamborghini Countach. The Lambo had little plastic covers over the top of the headlight housings IRL that hid the fact that the headlight assembly was actually a Nissan OEM part.

R32 with 300zx engine.

R32 with a 300zx TT engine, kit bash. It was a fun little distraction project to just see what-if, ya know.

Tamiya R32

This is probably the best of the last builds that I did before life happened and I had to quit building. Painted in OEM Nissan paint.

Im not an alarmist, Im a realist.

As humanity marches forward, toward our ever nearing inflection point, I’m reminded that somehow, we could avoid most of the crucial problems if only we were able to mobilize, to rally behind an intelligent figure who could bring the generations together, to spread awareness. Im also painfully aware that such a figure is just as likely to fall from the clouds and be wrapped in Golden Fleece, as we are to find someone who walks among us. Someone who’d have the political savvy, the eloquence, the speaking potential, and charisma to be able to convince the masses that we must change our ways or we will become little more than a single drop in a full bucket of wasted potential, in the grand scheme of things.

This multi-generational existential crisis is multifaceted; it’s all around us, it’s got our entire nation held at metaphorical gunpoint. I dare say that it’s so much more than our nation alone. I dare to suggest and say aloud that it’s truly the entire globe. Multiple generations of people, all at risk from one threat or another.

Ai, a governmental surveillance state, governmental authoritarianism and fascism is again making a rise globally, diseases spreading rapidly, some of which we have a cure already, that’s allowed to spread because misinformation has become the norm.

The erosion of civil liberties wholesale, the threat from global environmental catastrophe, multiple generations of people aren’t having children world wide.

The list goes on and on.

This is a threat that is hard to ignore or put into any simple context. It’s broad, it’s dangerous, and it’s overlooked. And if you’re like me, aware of the historical parallels being repeated, awareness of what is to come if we don’t alter coarse, you’re told you’re an alarmist. You’re inciting panic for no reason. You’re told to calm down.

Ladies and gentlemen, if you think this isn’t a big deal, I’d advise you to read up on your history.
