I was thinking to take out a TSP loan but I will be leaving the military in the next 3 months. Will I have to pay it back in full before I am officially out?

Just filed my first supplemental, curious to know the current processing timelines. I know it varies by case.

I interviewed last week by Northrop and was told a decision would be made by the end of this week. I received an offer from a smaller subcontractor but Northrop is definitely my top choice if selected. Would reaching out to the NG recruiter for a temperature check letting them know I have an offer but wanted would like to know if a decision was made before accepting another offer be appropriate or be looked at negatively in anyway?

I was denied for bilateral shoulder impingement. I only hlr’d the right because I was unaware that the x-rays for my left shoulder was submitted with the claim because my examiner requested an MRI after saying nothing was found. Fast forward to my HLR for my right shoulder re-examination, the examiner mentioned my left shoulder x-rays being in the file stating a finding of arthritis. Since then I’ve had an urgent care visit for my left shoulder as well as physical therapy by the VA. I plan to file a supplemental for my left arm with the additional evidence. Should I provide an additional lay statement stating why I didn’t HLR like left shoulder or does that not matter, just submit the additional evidence? No sure if it matters but I’ll mention that I won my HLR for my right shoulder and have that service connected already

I’ve applied to about 30-40 job postings for the Marietta location in the past year. I know the job market isn’t the best currently so I know that’s one challenge. Any suggestions or advice one could give to break into the company? I’m prior military with 8+ years of logistics experience and about 2 years of contractor experience in Acquisitions/Logistics. I also have a Bachelors in the field. Thanks in advance and sorry if this is isn’t the right place for this post.

Got an email for a digital interview. How long does it typically take from submission of the interview to a status update of no longer being considered or moving on?

Is it safe to say it’s a waiting game of another candidate accepting the offer before the website making updates of the application stage?

I’m reservist and took out a tsp loan. I was under the impression that I had to have the loan paid in full before I finish my contract but now I am reading that I can continue to make payments after I separate and not get penalized. Is that accurate?

I made some notes to help me not forget some key points for my virtual interview. Is looking away from the camera to read notes frowned upon for a virtual interview? A previous interview was by phone so it wasn’t a problem. Thanks in advance.

Curious to know what diagnostic code arthritis in the shoulder falls under?

Hey guys/gals, just checking to see how HLR filers from January are panning out. Got my DTA early this month, c&p exam complete and DBQ’s uploaded, just sitting in the NWQ per Vera call. Just impatiently waiting now. Hoping to hear some successes to give me hope haha.

After being denied I just HLR’d the right because I was under the impression that my x-rays for my left shoulder was not included in the claim (the VA did the x-rays and the examiner told me there were no abnormal findings, did a FOIA request for it but it’s still in step 2) after my re-exam for my right shoulder the examiner mentioned my left and said the x-rays for my left are in my file with findings of arthritis or something like that. Should I wait until my HLR is complete with my right shoulder to submit my appeal for my left? I have additional evidence of current PT for both shoulders and a recent urgent care event for my left shoulder.

I have about 14 months left on my GI bill and wanted to get my masters. I applied to Mercer university so that I can maximize my benefit and attend an in person class for full MHA. I’m learning that the GI bill has a cap, I see that they have the yellow ribbon program but it looks like that even with that, I will have an out of pocket expense for $6k remaining. I thought the purpose of the program was to pretty much at up the remaining costs that the VA capped. Any advice or scholarships anyone could recommend? I did my undergrad all online and never had to foot the bill for any of my schooling to this degree. Thanks in advance

Had a HLR that resulted in a DTA error. They requested another c&p exam which I had yesterday. Curious to know how long it typically can take from this point, I see I am not really able to track any of its progress in the app. It just shows the DTA of my HLR. Thanks for any input.

Submitted a claim, it had an ace exam which was done, saw the DBQ’s were uploaded. Went from step 3 to 5 back to step 3 where then a c&p was scheduled without my knowledge (I discovered by checking the app seeing I had a c&p over a hour away in the next 30 min). I called to have it rescheduled because I was notified and was told someone will call in 72 hrs to reschedule. No call and now I check the app to see my claim is at step 5. I even called the VA 1-800 line the day I rescheduled so they note in my file that I did not just no show my c&p and was waiting for a reschedule. Is this just a waiting game for a HLR now?

Is the ICI building just a basketball court or is there like an auditorium in there?

Just received my decision from my HLR with a duty to assist error. What typically happens after this? Do I get a new c&p or does my claim just go back to the rating stage?

Looking to start an online masters program and curious to know how manageable it is. I’m finishing up my bachelors with erau and have been able to balance ok with having a full time job. I know a masters program can be more rigorous and time consuming. Any inputs or opinions of how challenging this may be?

Filed a secondary claim last October for shoulder impingement secondary to cervical strain. Had an MRI and service treatment records as my evidence and was denied due to not having a current diagnosis. I did have a favorable finding citing a date in my records proving I had an injury and received care for my shoulder.

Just got my informal conference scheduled and looking for advice. Since my MRI shows findings described as moderate tendinosis seen within the mid distal portion of the supraspinatus tendon which I believe is considered a diagnosis at the time of the claim. Besides pointing out that error of valid evidence not being considered as. Is there anything else I can make clear?

I don’t want to rant about how I’m still hurting and receiving treatment for it now because I believe that would be considered new evidence and I rather have success with this HLR before being guided to a supplemental. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
