I’m building an Apache 3800 speaker with a touch screen head unit, the one the builder recommended was a cheap $50 Amazon head unit that also acts as the amp to power 2x 5.25” speakers, I want decent quality on a decent budget, the speakers are ds18 full range speakers and I’m wondering if it’s worth it to use the power acoustik brand head unit that’s $150 and spend the extra money, or get an after market amp for the speakers connecting to the cheaper head unit, I’m pretty newbie to this stuff and would like some help on the right decision, thanks
