Fatty liver on ultrasound, but bloodwork ok--next steps?

Hi all, I recently was having some intense stomach pain which resulted in an abdominal ultrasound to check on my gallbladder. Gallbladder ended up being fine (turns out it was just a regular old stomach bug) but the ultrasound showed my liver as "Normal size, normal shape and contour, mild increased echogenicity with homogeneous parenchyma, normal intra and extra hepatic ducts." The doctor responded saying I had fatty liver and should follow up with my primary. However, my primary said that since my ALT and AST are normal there is nothing I really need to do, other than focus on losing some weight and healthy eating. I am set to meet with a dietician soon. I asked my primary how I would know I am making progress on reversing the fatty liver damage and she said they would know by my bloodwork. When I responded that my bloodwork was already "normal", though, she didn't have a good answer but again affirmed I didn't need to be referred for any additional monitoring or testing.

While I'm happy my labs are good, I'm a little shook up by "happening" to catch this via ultrasound. Part of me would like to have more information about the state of my liver--like how bad is it? How intense do I need to be about lifestyle changes? I've already hit my out of pocket maximum this year (thanks pregnancy!) so I'm not concerned about the financial cost of seeing a liver specialist. However, I also don't want to waste any doctor's time if it really would not be helpful to get more testing or information done. This is all very new, and I would appreciate any input or advice anyone can share. Thank you!

When will baby care about me?

My baby is 4 months old and is generally so chill. He's been smiling for a while and has begun to laugh very rarely--so adorable! But I feel like he doesn't super care about me as his mom? He will see me and smile, but he does that with just about anyone. He will hold eye contact a bit but mostly is just always swiveling his head to look around, even if I'm holding him or right in front of him. He doesn't particularly seemed soothed by me or my presence. He doesn't turn his head toward my voice (newborn hearing screen was fine!). He was born 3.5 weeks early so maybe he's just a little slower...but I can't help worry he just doesn't like me. Which is fine, I like him which is all that matters! But am I doing something wrong?

Baby crying at breast

My 4 month old baby has never had a great latch. He was born 3 weeks early so from the start his latch wasn't great and his sucking wasn't super developed. In the beginning we would latch him a bit but mostly would give bottles of pumped breast milk. Since then, it has ebbed and flowed--some feedings he'll nurse great (we did a weighed feed and he drank 4 oz in 6 minutes!) but others he just starts crying almost immediately as I start to get him into cross cradle position. Around 2.5 months it was amazing--he was nursing most every feeding and only taking a bottle of breast milk at night. But in the last month, he's becoming even more resistant, but will happily accept a bottle.

Honestly I'm so heartbroken and frustrated, and I hate that I get frustrated with him. I don't understand why this is happening, and I hate that every feeding I don't know if we will be able to nurse or if he's going to start screaming. Whenever we go out, which I try not to do, we have to pack bottles because I can't trust he will nurse. We have seen multiple lactation consultants, a pediatric feeding OT specialist, but of course he nurses great when they are there. I haaaate pumping and hate feeling so mad when I watch my husband sweetly give him a bottle while I'm stuck to this machine.

I never thought I had such strong breastfeeding feelings until my journey has gone like this. I love my baby so much, and I hate that this makes me have an ounce of resentment toward him.

I'd take any advice on how to deal with baby crying and pulling away at the breast? Is he too old at this point, and I need to just give up on breastfeeding and resign myself to pumping or switching to formula??

Can't get baby to sleep

I feel like such a failure because I can almost never get my 3 month old son to go to sleep, especially at night. I am extremely lucky to have a VERY involved and supportive husband who adores our son and somehow does not get fazed by his crying. And I'm glad our son just seems to melt into his dad's arms, or that my husband just can deal with the crying and fussing until he drifts off, but I feel like such a failure. Aren't I supposed to do this, as his mom?? I feel guilty because I'm relieved when my husband offers to take him from me to put him to sleep. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but it almost seems like I can't hold him quite right (my dumb big boobs in the way lol) or maybe it's my anxiety he can sense, I don't know. But I feel like such a failure, and that this is going to impact our future relationship and he won't feel as close to me :(
