I’m looking for a piano plugin that is free. Most of the ones I have found are all soft piano or ambient piano vsts, I’m looking for just a classic piano because I need to record a jazz piece (it will sound sort of in the realm of 50/60s type production so not the highest fidelity) anyone know any free piano plugins that are good for this?

I’ve been wanting keyscape for a while because of the versatility however, I am not the biggest fan of the fact that there is no edu discount and 400 is unfortunately too much for my budget right now. I need the vst for a project I’m working on next week, does anyone know how to get this plugin through other ways?

Which of the 3 live action spider-man themes do you guys think is the best? I think my favorite is Giacchino’s theme for Tom’s Spider-Man, it’s the perfect combo of heroic and that “friendly neighborhood” vibe we all know and love about the character. I also feel like his genius orchestration has helped mature the theme as Peter himself matures throughout the films. I love the other scores so much too but it’s definitely hard to beat a Giacchino superhero score

There’s a new Ryan Beatty album and the first song called “Phantom” has a very familiar chord progression. The first 3 chords remind me of a specific song with like a piano riff on top of it but I can’t place it and it’s killing me. Anyone have any ideas?

Hey everyone!

I’m moving into a new house and need new monitors for my setup and I’m deciding between the Yamaha hs7 and the hs8. My home “studio” will be in the roughly 200 square foot garage. I do mostly film music but I also produce other indie, synth (or electronic in general) oriented stuff on the side. I was wondering which monitors would be a better fit for the space? I was worried about maybe the HS8 being a little too boomy with the extra low end and power it puts out but also I like the extra low end the extra volume might be nice for the space. My budget takes into account for either one so no worries there, I’ve found a lot of each near me used and for a good price. Thoughts?
