Back to feeling like my athletic self: 20lbs down postpartum (and a honest review)

Back to feeling like my athletic self: 20lbs down postpartum (and a honest review)

I wanted to share a quick win because I know how frustrating the postpartum plateau is.

For context, I’m 5’0” and used to be a gymnast and college cheerleader. Throughout my adult life, I comfortably sat around 120–130 lbs. But after having two kids back-to-back, my body just didn't feel like mine anymore. I hit 155 lbs and stayed there. I bought a walking pad, cleaned up my diet, and did "all the right things," but the weight wouldn't budge.

I know 20 lbs isn't a massive transformation compared to some, but those 20 pounds felt entirely stubborn and impossible. What finally broke the stall for me were these pills. In four months, I dropped the weight and finally feel comfortable in my skin again.

Side effects: The nausea was definitely intense at first, but honestly? Nothing compared to actual pregnancy sickness, so I powered through.

Consistency: I even had a mishap where I missed a week entirely, but I was able to jump right back on schedule with no issues.

Just wanted to share this for anyone else struggling to get their spark back after kids. Rooting for all of you who just want to feel like yourselves again and need that extra boost!

Synthetic lace front wig is here for a good time not a long time.

I purchased a synthetic wig from SHEIN—of all places—and honestly? She is absolute perfection out of the box. Just know going in that her shelf life is short!

I work completely remote, but I needed something for our massive, three-day in-person work conference. That three-day mark was exactly when this wig started showing her true synthetic colors 😂**. By day three, the tangles definitely started setting in.**

If you need a gorgeous look for a 1-to-2-night event, a quick work trip, or a weekend getaway, this is a total steal. I’m currently saving her to throw into a quick, casual long braid. I’m sure I could revive her with a little TLC, but for a $30 investment? She more than did her job!
