987 Center Door Lock Trim on Dashboard Removal?

Hey all. I’m trying to remove just the top trim surrounding the center door lock above the navigation. I didn’t find another post and couldn’t find a video on YT.

Can I just easily pry/snap that piece off without removing anything else? What else needs to be removed first?

I need to get access to the button which sort of fell into the slot. Trying to avoid going to a shop. Thanks!

SuperStation One Preorder?

Mostly looking for one as a gift, but I noticed that the current preorder batch is sold out on the website.

Will there be another batch to order preferably in black? Don’t know where that type of news is usually discussed.

Wireless Controller $89!?

I wonder if it’s that good when the NSO one is like $55.

May just have to go with the 10 foot wired options. Or the 8bitDo wireless ones.

Battery Maintainer, No Outlet Use per HOA, Alternative Options?

So what is everyone else doing to maintain the battery and internal electronics when you can’t use the HOA outlets for legal and insurance reasons?

Anyone using a rechargeable power generator that lasts a few months? Any recommendations? Probably a far reach to have one that powers a maintainer from October to April.

▲ 1 r/tax

I apologize in advance if this is the incorrect subreddit. Please redirect me where needed. I have been searching for some answers in regard to appropriately filling out a Form 5500 EZ. My family tax “specialist” doesn’t deal with 5500s. Ugh. And then contacting some other local guys was met with the same hesitation.

  1. Business activity for those who do part time 1099 work in healthcare? I assume it’s one of the 621xxx codes even though the family member doesn’t have per se an office as an independent contractor.

  2. Plan characteristic has to be one of the 2x codes since Fidelity states it’s a defined contribution type of self employed 401k plan. Is that correct? The employer only contribution is variable based on what is produced part time (20-25% of gross). Their part time W2 job is where they do a full employee contribution for a small match. 2D, 2E…?

  3. Is the employer contribution amount what is only in the 2025 tax year filings or does it include 2024? Plan was opened in Jan 2025, a small amount from 2024 work (noted on that 1040) was deposited before rolling over an old 401k into it. Then for 2025 filing recently, some more put in. The AVS mentions only the deposit date and not the tax year assigned to contribution. This is a bit confusing about what goes on the employer contribution line.

The form otherwise seems straightforward. Helped to get an EIN off the website since the plan now exceeds $250K. Happy to answer any questions to clarify things. Thanks to all!

Looking for a new washer and dryer. Less functions are fine as I care about long term reliability and not syncing with a dumb app. Don’t care if it’s just old school buttons and only knobs.

Some requirements are depth no more than around 25 inches to accommodate for duct behind and to side, electric only since no gas connection, and either stackable or single unit.

A lot of newer units are huge in terms of depth so would have to remove the closet door which is not ideal. Another unit in the building has a LG WKEX200HWA which is 30” depth and that’s too big.

Keep hearing Samsung just sucks. Not sure if LG compact units are ventless or not. Different info depending on the seller. GE GFD14ESSNWW and GFW148SSMWW seem to be the closest ones. Any other good easy to repair options?
