Family Portrait Location (SE Asia, perhaps?)

I bought this picture of a family and thought it was incredibly unique. The man has many tattoos, and there are Chinese Characters on the stone behind them. I am less interested in who they are (I would think that would be impossible to find), but where they are located is of interest. I cannot determine the year, but on the back is written "Family. Shon" or "Shor", perhaps. I thought it could be "Shan". Perhaps someone will recognize the tattoo type or the stone...

French town, or perhaps Quebec?

I believe this town is in France, although it is a Real Photo Postcard and the reverse is in English, which could indicate a Canadian connection. Does anyone recognize it?

Hotel or Lodge, perhaps?

This is a Real Photo postcard of what appears to be a lodge or perhaps a hotel under construction. It could be anywhere, but I would lean to the Western USA. Maybe Washington, Oregon, or California. That's only a guess though. Any idea?

School in Indian Territory/Oklahoma(?)

This is a school photograph, I believe, in Indian Territory (or it could be elsewhere, but I bought it in Eastern Oklahoma, and a dealer at one point put "IT" on the back of the card). That is not confirmation of the location, but it's where I started looking. Does anyone recognize this building or its location?

United States, New England perhaps?

This is a Real Photo postcard of what appears to be an area around the water. Maybe a resort area, but the wooden buildings in the front appear to be dorms or multi-unit housing. The building complex in the back is the most interesting, but I can't figure it out.

German/Prussian/Polish town

Can anyone help identify this town? It's a tough one. I can't find an exact image of the tower in the background. It could be a church, could be a clock tower. Any idea where it might be?

Canal Location? Perhaps?

This is a photo of a canal in the eastern USA. Perhaps in New York or Pennsylvania, but those are just guesses. Any idea where this may be?

Mysterious Location: Ghost Town, perhaps?

I found this picture at a flea market. I loved it. I thought that it initially was Bowie, California, perhaps, but I am not sure. Can anyone out west take a look and see what they think?

Photograph of Rapid City?

Hey everyone,
Happy Labor Day weekend! I found this old photo, and I am 90% certain it is Rapid City, but I cannot confirm. Would anyone recognize the city from this era?
Thanks so much!

Hey there everyone,
I found this old Real Photo Postcard, and I am fairly certain it is Alaska, but I can't tell where. Can anyone recognize the mountain range in the back?
Thanks so much!

A German building in Poland or modern Belarus?

I am perplexed about this postcard. Perhaps someone can help me figure out where the location is. Some background research, but I keep getting dead ends. I am not a German speaker, but perhaps the back yields some clues. I also uploaded a close-up picture of the sign near the door. I would love some insight!

Building Identification in Photograph

Hey everyone, and greetings from Nashville, Tennessee, USA! I am a postcard and old photograph collector. I recently found this very small photo of a building in Ilocos Norte. Can anyone help me identify it? It says "capitol" or "capital" on the back, but it does not resemble the current capitol building. Thanks everyone!
