parents fighting

I wonder if anyone else can relate and share what has helped them.
I grew up in a household where my parents fought every month, as long as i remember myself. the fights were scary involved yelling, throwing things, leaving the house randomly etc. was no physical abuse but i was always scared they would kill each other. now i’m an adult and have anxiety and panic attacks. those became worse after my father passed away two years ago. Any advice would help or if you can relate. I don’t know many people with similar story so I wanted to ask here.

any positive stories on healing childhood trauma/parents fighting

I grew up in a home where my parents fought every month if not week. It’s been like that as long as I remember myself. Their fights were really scary sometimes, like throwing phones, leaving home and disappearing for several hours, very loud yelling and acting crazy. I was totally ignored in those moments usually. So I grew up now and ofc it messed me up. Mainly in the form of anxiety and panic attacks. I don’t get scared of fights anymore but I have anxiety or panic in other random situation or just out of nowhere. My father passed away two years ago and since then, there were no fights. But my mental health got really bad. I now take antidepressants and do EMDR, some things get better some not.

I wonder if there is anyone in similar situation willing to share advice on things that has helped them, or if they could overcome the effects of long term trauma and if so, how?

Thank you in advance!

i need advice as i don’t understand if this med suits me or not. i’ve been taking this med for almost 3 months already since i started on 5 mg. it’s been up and down, especially when i was increasing the dose. especially around periods it’s getting worse. this time i increased to 8 mg around a month ago, and some days were really nice but recently i have anxiety creeping again and weird feeling, like a brain fog mixed with anxiety and mixed with dissociation. feels very confusing. so i wonder is it the sign that the med is not for me? or do i need to increase to 10 before deciding. my doc is starting to be skeptical about whether the med suits me, but im not sure because some days were really great.
