i have various interests, but i've currently been dragged back into history books by the CountryHumans fandom. i also get really into worldbuilding and lore for my characters.

i can talk about whatever, though i will change the subject if the topic gets uncomfortable, and will not shy away from saying why its uncomfortable.

i tend to ramble/overshare and don't pick up on social cues sometimes, i may ask for clarification if i have no idea what you're talking about, even if it would be obvious to anyone else, and i will definitely, at some point, make a grammatical error that makes me look stupid.

we have three dogs(a german shepherd, an aussie shepherd, and a mix of the two breeds) and a large backyard(about an acre), we are planning to chop up all the sticker burr plants(very invasive, they are everywhere, its almost a forest) when the heat goes down but we're having problems with our dogs rolling in them, sticking their faces into them, and generally getting them stuck in their fur.

i've been picking the burrs out manually but i'm wondering how to deal with what they get in their ears or if theres a way to discourage it

not sure if this is Fluff(as in fur???) related or Misc Help

i'm working on a world with all the countryhumans, suggestions for who i should do next and outfits are welcome

who i have so far:

my America design: he/him, his skin alternates between red and white in stripes, with a Navy blue canton covering the upper left part of his face filled with 50 stars. he wears his sunglasses to hide his eyes and nobody actually knows what they look like. He wears a fitted olive-green henley, slim dark jeans, and low-top sneakers cut open at the toe and reinforced with straps to fit his talons, all under a scuffed brown leather bomber jacket with slits cut into the back for his wings, finished off with aviator sunglasses and bandages wound around both forearms. he has bald eagle wings and some tail and chest feathers

my Russia design: he/him. mainly red skin with a horizontal blue stripe in the middle of his face, with white above that. He wears a heavy cream wool sweater, thick dark wool trousers, and fur-lined leather boots, bundled under a long, dense fur-trimmed coat. wears an ushanka with a red star on top, where the star is the surrounding area is light brown, the rest of the ushanka is leather brown, except the Soviet star (red) and the fluff on the bottom of the ear tufts(also light brown)

My Ukraine design: he/him. blue eyes. mostly yellow skin, with only blue skin above a horizontal line leveled at the nose bridge. blue hair. He wears a linen shirt with subtle embroidered trim at the collar, olive cargo pants, and worn combat boots, layered under a light field jacket left unbuttoned, finished with a flower crown woven with ribbon strands trailing down his back.

Belarus design: She/her. skin is mostly green but the top half of her face is red, a vertical red-on-white Belarusian ornamental pattern covers the far left side of her face. She wears a soft cream blouse, straight-leg jeans, and simple flats, layered under a fitted knit cardigan, finished with a scarf patterned in red and white embroidery of a Belarusian ornamental pattern loosely around her neck

my United Kingdom design: he/him, primarily blue skin with the Union Jack centered on his face, blue hair with red and white patches. red eyes. red dragon wings, tail, and horns from wales' flag. He wears a crisp button-down shirt under a tailored waistcoat, slim tailored trousers, and oxford shoes reinforced at the heel to brace his tail, layered under a fitted tailcoat with a slit down the back for his dragon wings, finished with round wire-frame glasses and a few pins(UK flag, England flag, Northern Ireland flag, Scotland flag, Wales flag*)* pinned along his collar thingy(DID with his constitutent...? constitute... constituent countries- also he has dragon stuff cuz wales isnt represented on the flag)

my France design: he/him, one blue eye one red eye, his skin is split vertically into three colors, blue, white, and red. 5'6 with a slim build. his hair is medium long, white with blue and red at the tips on either side. He wears a loose silk blouse left unbuttoned at the collar, fitted black trousers, and leather loafers, draped under a beige trench coat worn off the shoulders, finished with a striped scarf and a black beret tilted to one side (this guy's personality is heavily based on an actual french gay guy i knew about a year ago)

New Zealand: she/her. red eyes. blue skin, union jack covering the upper left of her face, four red stars centred within four white stars arranged to represent the southern cross constellation on her right cheek. She wears a fleece pullover, stretch hiking pants, and worn hiking boots, layered under a lightweight windbreaker, finished with a wide-brim canvas hat and a small daypack slung over one shoulder

Australia: She/her. red eyes. blue skin, union jack covering the upper left of her face, the Commonwealth Star on her left cheek, five white stars arranged to represent the southern cross constellation on her right cheek. She wears a khaki utility shirt, khaki cargo shorts, and sturdy lace-up boots, layered under a multi-pocketed field vest, finished with a wide-brim hat and a canvas backpack worn on both shoulders(headcannons are heavily based on my aussie friend*she got me into the fandom*)

Canada: He/him. red eyes. his skin is split vertically into three colors, red, white, and red. He wears a red-and-black plaid flannel shirt, dark denim jeans, and heavy work boots, layered under a quilted flannel-lined jacket, finished with suspenders and a beaver-fur hat. says 'eh' a lot, its a very versatile word and he can change the meaning with his tone(i think that bit is important :] i also personally eh and ey a lot in normal conversation, a habit my canadian mom and her parents have, i can confirm its not just a stereotype! though i can also confirm its a lil bit of a stereotype if you assume its on every sentence)

my Japan design: she/her. red eyes. mostly white skin with a red circle centered on her face. has white cat ears and a white cat tail with a red tip. 5'5" androgynous. hair is white with a red streak, pretty long. She wears a soft pastel knit sweater, a pleated skirt with a discreet cutout at the back for her tail, and platform sneakers, layered under a cropped cardigan, finished with a blue ribbon tied at her collar and at the end of her tail. childish on purpose but a lot more mature than she acts, people tend to let down their guard around her because of it(her personality is actually pretty close to germany's! but she tends to act childish along with italy to keep people's guards down)

my Italy design: he/him, one red eye one green eye, his skin is split vertically into three colors, red, white, and green. 5'6 with a stocky, powerful build. his hair is mid length, naturally curly, white with red and green at the tips on either side. He wears a white linen shirt, tailored wool trousers, and polished leather loafers, layered under a light wool blazer, finished with a silk pocket square and a thin neck scarf(i have like 2 headcannons for this guy)

my Germany design: he/him, yellow eyes, mainly yellow skin with a horizontal red stripe in the middle of his face, with black above that. he also has an iron cross necklace. he is 5'8" and relatively slim and moderately fit. He wears a fitted white dress shirt, tailored charcoal slacks, and polished oxfords, layered under a structured blazer cut with a slit for his tail, finished with rectangular wire-frame glasses and an iron cross on a black cord, the charm old and rusted and the original chain or string long gone(german shepherd hybrid feeding into my 3rd reich headcannons!)

my Poland design: he/him. red eyes. mostly red skin, with only white skin above a horizontal line leveled at the nose bridge. white hair. his wings used to be large and white but they were mangled by USSR and Reich in 1939(he is a little cautious arround the former USSR republics and Germany). He wears a plain gray henley, sturdy canvas trousers, and reinforced boots built to accommodate his talons, layered under a patched military-style coat with mended slits along the back for his wings

my China design: He/him. one gold eye one red eye. fully red skin with four stars under his left eye. gold and red Chinese dragon tail and antler thingies(are they called antlers?). He wears a Mandarin-collared tunic, tailored black trousers, and black cloth shoes, layered under a long formal changshan robe slit at the back for his tail, finished with a carved jade pendant

my Mexico design: he/him, one green eye one red eye, his skin is split vertically into three colors, green, white, and red with the Coat of Arms of Mexico centered on his face. 5'6 with a stocky, powerful build. he has golden eagle wings and tail feathers and talons on his hands and feet. his hair is mid length, white with green and red at the tips on either side. He wears a loose embroidered guayabera shirt, relaxed denim jeans, and huarache sandals modified with open weaving at the toe for his talons, layered under an unbuttoned denim jacket with slits cut for his wings, finished with woven friendship bracelets and a plush rattlesnake named Nopal draped around his neck(i live in texas so i'm very exposed to mexican culture, i have many many headcannons because my au focuses on CAM and the states and counties lore-)

North Korea: He/him. red eyes. mostly blue with a wide horizontal red stripe across his face bordered above and below by a thin white stripe and a broad blue stripe, there's a white circle with a five-pointed red star inside on the left inside the stripe. blue hair. He wears an olive-green military tunic, matching military trousers, and polished black military boots, layered under a fitted military overcoat, finished with a peaked officer's cap and a row of rank pins across his chest(no headcannons except raised by USSR)

South Korea: She/her. one red eye one blue eye. her skin is mostly white with a red and blue taegeuk in the center of her face, accompanied by four black trigrams around it in each corner. white hair. She wears an oversized graphic hoodie, a pleated mini skirt, and chunky platform sneakers, layered under an oversized bomber jacket, finished with layered thin necklaces and a small crossbody bag(no headcannons except raised by America)

Switzerland: She/her. red eyes. fully red skin with a white swiss cross centered on her face. red hair. She wears a plain gray sweater, simple black trousers, and unadorned flats, layered under an understated wool coat

NATO(Organizationhuman): They/Them. fully black eyes with a glowy ring of white in each. mostly navy blue skin with the NATO compass logo centered on their face. white wings. neat, navy Blue hair. They wear a dark tactical turtleneck, matching dark tactical trousers, and black combat boots, layered under a dark military overcoat slit at the back for their wings, finished with a floating silver ring halo broken into four curved arcs, each separated by a perpendicular notch at the cardinal points(idk if i described the shape right- anyways most organizations can take off their halos to make their wings disappear and their eyes look semi-normal- NATO's are navy blue with white four-point star)

UN(Organizationhuman): They/Them. fully black eyes with a glowy ring of white in each. mostly light blue skin with the UN logo centered on their face. white wings. light blue hair. They wear a crisp white dress shirt, light blue suit trousers, and black dress shoes, layered under a light blue suit jacket slit at the back for their wings, finished with a black tie and a glowing white olive-branch halo suspended above their head(UN's eyes with his halo off are light blue with normal shaped white pupils)

EU(Organizationhuman): They/them. fully black eyes with a glowy ring of yellow in each. mostly blue skin with a ring of 12 yellow stars centered on their face. yellow wings. blue hair. They wear a crisp white dress shirt, light brown suit trousers, and brown oxfords, layered under a light brown suit jacket slit at the back for their wings, finished with a blue tie, and a glowing yellow halo of twelve stars(his eyes look like germany's when his halo is off)

Antarctica(Continenthuman): He/him, Ice-blue skin with a white map of Antarctica centered on his face. Thick white hair, sharp icy-blue eyes, polar bear ears, polar bear tail. blue and white scarf, black turtleneck, gray cargo pants, black combat boots(i see him as the last living continenthuman because his land isnt technically claimed by anyone)
