hi. i'm a singer and i'm pretty confident in my skills but when I go to karaoke and sing in front of people I get bad stage fright. once I sing one song i'm able to loosen up and not be so rigid but Im still fairly stiff compared to the way I perform the songs in my bedroom. the same goes for dancing. tonight I asked someone to record me dancing to a song I learned and having people watch me made me so nervous.
id love to be a performer one day but I have struggled with this for YEARS and I don't know what else to do to break this cycle. i've done SO much karaoke lately and every time I do it i'm nervous for the first song.
thats fine for karaoke because I get the chance to sing again but what if im auditioning for something? or performing on a stage? I don't get a second chance.
I feel like this is truly holding me back and idk whqt else to do at this point. any advice would be helpful. thank you!❤️
hey y'all, i'm looking for a better job than the one I have now. I really wanted to go into welding because i like making things with my hands (i'm an artist who likes sculpture) and for the most part I just enjoy the process of constructing things. I was looking into welding programs and then I started researching the health risks of it and realized it's not for me. are there any other blue collar jobs that I could do where im using my hands to make things?
hi! so I went to school for art and after i graduated I stopped making art. a couple weeks ago I made a 3D cardboard sign for a concert and it reminded me of how much I loved making things with my hands. when I was in school I welded a little and also took a woodshop class and thoroughly enjoyed those classes.
I was looking into becoming a welder but I found out it comes with major health risks so that's not really an option for me anymore. what else could I do that would pay well that involves making stuff with my hands?
I don't even care THAT much about the final product, I mainly just appreciate the process which is why I was so pumped about welding.
