Living room layout help

I can't figure out how to make this living room work, it has too much furniture. I will be buying a new couch. The furniture I'm keeping: couch for dog (under large window), coffee table, end table, tv.

Originally I was against having the couch in front of the large window since my back would be against it - but I may be able to get past that.

What is the best way to layout this room? Included is the couch I'm looking at buying and some drafts I came up with. The couch, I can choose from different fabric/color options. Being short, I'm having a hard time finding a couch I can comfortably sit on. I looked at sections but couldn't find one that worked for me.
