I used AI to visualize my space, but i need some worldly advice!

The 2nd picture is for my present desk setup. You can tell its clean but it is devoid of personality I like green plants and the cozy lived-in aesthetic, and ran a photograph of my room through an Reasonable Fill with AI generator to visualise what it may probably appear wish to (first image). However, I am so obsessed with the result. For the floralpreneurs with ornate, botanical desks: how realistic is this? Which low-maintenance plants?

Just wrapped this one. Client's already asking what to put in the niche. Thoghts??

Marble panels, rain head, built-in niche, frameless glass. Genuinely don't know what's missing but something feels incomplete. Maybe art? A plant? Another shower?

What would you add?

Just put in new countertops, black sink, and black faucet. Stay with the pewter knobs or go with black? Thoughts!

Need some help!

Hi all, I hope my question does belong here! I'm not at all sure about my choices. For example, the two ikea billys, should they be lighter oak, or this darker shade? Shouldn't they match the tv stand in color? Does the lighter coloured tv stand work? Should it match the coffee table, the floors? Are my color choices for the couches ok? I worry the combination is too much, but I really want something colorful! The second photo is my plan for the kitchen (it is open on the living room and behind the teal couch).

WHERE do you buy good quality couches

World Cup is coming up and I finally have a reason to deal with this. I have looked everywhere and I genuinely cannot figure out where people are finding good sofas. Everything in my price range either looks cheap in person, has reviews complaining about it falling apart after a year, or is a six month wait from some brand that won't tell you anything about the materials.

I just want something that's actually well made, comfortable enough to sit on for a full match, and not going to look sad in two years. Does that exist under $3k or am I delusional.

Living room dilemma

Hello! What do you think about the desk and armchair situation? I am getting a bigger carpet (not sure about the color and size yet) and would like to add some warm lamps as well... but I just dont know how to arrange the desk and armchair!

Edit: You might be wondering about the plants — I open the left window only so dont want to put anything to block it... not sure if I should be less practical though and get a better plant arrangement.

Ottoman or coffee table —help!

What title says. Purchased a coffee table that ended up being too tall (the black one depicted in photos) and am trying to decide whether I should go for this ottoman I’ve been eyeing or a different kind of coffee table. Felt like the black got a bit lost on the dark carpet.

Just moved into this modern house, so I’ve been trying to bring in more traditional, moody pieces. Leaned a bit too hard into the moody and am now trying to scale it back to more of a **traditional vibe that still feels warm and safe for guests**.

Still shopping for side tables and some decor pieces, so any recommendations for those as well would be great!!

Open to all recommendations!!

Is marble-look in a shower timeless or will I regret it in 5 years?

The marble-look walls are doing exactly what they should — making the whole space feel larger and more expensive than it is.

Only thing I'd change: brushed nickel is fine but matte black hardware would've made those veining patterns pop harder. Small thing.

The plant and wood tray are doing a lot of heavy lifting styling-wise. Don't underestimate accessories in a shower — most people skip them entirely and wonder why it still feels unfinished.

Advice Requested - Fireplace styling/art

Hello all,

Newly moved into home and we're struggling with determining what size of art we should be considering for this area, as it seems there are many suggested guidelines.

For context, this is a 2 story living room (22ft ceiling). Mantle width is 84", and floor to the top of the mantle is ~64".

Is 2/3 width still a recommended size here? Go less wide and more vertical? Any art piece this size is going to be nonrefundable, so I don't want to be left with something that looks poorly designed.

Best sofa brand for comfort?

I've been looking for a mid-century modern couch. I'm leaning towards Room & Board, but then on the actual website I'm reading reviews about lack of comfort.

Can anyone advise on a stylish, long-lasting, comfortable couch brand?? Thanks!

I have no idea how to make this front room functional and inviting. My style is transitional but it’s such an odd shape in an old house

Looks kinda boring, got any ideas to spice it up? Seriously, hit me with your honest opinion, I'm ready for it.
