Help me pick a wall colour please!
Mcm furniture, carpet is still up for debate (likely a later ruggable purchase), tutor revival 1930s home. What colour should we paint the walls?

Purchased from a farm stand. I’d love to know so I can grow!
Looking to buy matching sail pants. I purchased my top and shorts off Poshmark, so I’m not sure which pink it is. Picture of material and tag
We just closed on a 1930’s Tudor house, with textured lath and plaster interior walls. Every room is currently yellow, and I want to start with the living room. What I know will be in the room:
- mcm wooden coffee table
- velvet green sectional couch
- coral coloured carpet
- red oak wood floors with mahogany inlay
Taking all that into account- what colour should I paint the walls? TYIA!
My family is leaving our legit century home (1912), and moving to this almost century home (1931). It needs work, but we fell in love with the hardwood floors, stained glass, and space. Looking forward to painting - every room is yellow!
My partner says it’s an art deco home - please send your decor recommendations including wall colours that appropriately compliment the floors :)
I've heard some people go back and forth, some people strongly use one over the other, and it seems to be based on the province. Google is telling me May 2-4 is just an Ontario thing but I've heard it exclusively used in parts of the Maritimes as well as some Americans calling their Memorial Day weekend May 2-4.
