USB Device Not Recognized solved for windows 11
I'm not sure how I did it but it worked for me. I was struggling to connect my ps4 dual shock controller, stuck on white light mode and my pc didn't recognize it no matter what I did. After searching countless website, watched youtube videos nothing helped. I took these steps
identify the problem, in my case it was Code - 43
https://www.pchelpsoft.com/en/lp/driver-updater/download/ and then use to update the driver especially https://www.driveridentifier.com/ -> your antivirus might quarentine their product - disable it and run it and update anything that has to do with USB, Bluetooth and Ports especially - Intel(R) Active Management Technology - SOL (COM3) if it is on your computer.
update drivers from official product website by scanning through their website or use software they provide, mine was Lenovo Service Bridge.
use window button + X and choose power options -> Energy Recommendation -> turn off -> stop usb devices when my screen is off to help save battery at the bottom.
Go to electronic teams inc https://www.electronic.us/ and install Serial Port Monitor Software - launch it - scan/open COM3 port -> send ->start loop and save the session. you should see green, yellow, gray marked text indicting success or if the port is launching the driver etc. I also Uninstalled and Reinstalled DS4Window at some point.
I also followed this steps at some point. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYohvHQuahU&t=44s didnt work but when I installed the correct drivers it is worked.
If everything is correct USB drivers called Electronic USB HUB 3.0 and XBOX 360 Peripherals should appear on your system in the Device Manager Section.
I don't know what this got to do with Xbox 360 but I used my ps4 controller before as an xbox 360 controller with DS4Windows to play GTAV.
Here are the screenshots I took while dealing with this issue.
