Steam keeps overwriting my save without asking me

I used steam for the first time a couple months ago because I wanted a way to play cuphead on my AYN thor. I planned on using gamehub or one of its variations. It worked fine, and when I switched to pc every once in a while it asked me if I wanted to use the local save (from the thor) or the cloud save (rom the last time I played on PC) and I always clicked local save since that was the most up to date save data.

However, there was one day that I opened cuphead and steam did NOT ask me what save data I wanted to use, and it loaded save data from like weeks ago; all my progress gone. I went on gamehub, and it also just got rid of the local save as if it never existed. I took the L and moved on, but now it just happened AGAIN! Yesterday, I logged onto steam on my PC after playing cuphead on my thor for a while, booted into cuphead, and selected the local save option. It worked fine, but today I opened cuphead, and it didn't ask me what save data I wanted, and loaded save data from a month ago! All that progress gone in an instant. Is there absolutely any way to at least prevent this from happening??

And does anyone know if this is possible, I figure gamehub probably stores the data for the game on the thor itself for the local save, so if I boot up the device without wifi is it possible to find the save data in the files somewhere?

▲ 1 r/venmo

Venmo not letting me chose my debit card color.

So I just made a venmo account, and I clicked the button that lets me get a physical card. I before continuing though, I clicked to view the terms and conditions, but when I clicked off the terms and conditions, it brought me back to the homepage. Now the card is already made, and they are planning to ship it out, but it never gave me any customization options or ability to change the color (it's a color I do not like). Is there anything I can do to fix this? I'm not familiar with how venmo works yet.

  • New build or upgrade? New
  • Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links) No parts, (I have only used laptops) but I have a Samsung odyssey G5 I think?) curved monitor.
  • PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games) I mainly just want something that can efficiently run 10 applications at any given time, I do school online so I need to have multiple browser windows, word editing apps, music, screenshots, etc. open simultaneously without slowdown. I also use it to play games every once in a while so I'd like it to be able to run games like minecraft at a decent fps, PTCGL, or retro emulators without overheating.
  • Purchase country? Near Micro Center? In the US, nowhere near a micro center, closest one is 5 hours in a different state.
  • Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate) Like I said I have a monitor, I don't really know anything about the resolution or refresh rate or anything like that.
  • Budget range? (Include tax considerations) Hoping to not exceed 1500 (after taxes), but I'm willing to go a little over if there is a significant performance increase with an extra like 50 dollars spent.
  • WiFi or wired connection? The capability for both would be ideal since I have both, but if I had to chose one I would pick wired.
  • Size/noise constraints? Size isn't really an issue I have a pretty large desk, but I really don't want it to be loud.
  • Color/lighting preferences? I'd like if it could be white, I don't care about lights.
  • Any other specific needs? I dunno if a PC can have this but an SD card slot would be super helpful, also lots of usb-c and usd-A ports.

Side note, I know absolutely nothing about building a PC, I've used laptops my whole life, so sorry if I get confused or say the wrong thing.
