My ex-husband filed an emergency order to suspend my parenting time with our 12 year old daughter. We also have a son and the order doesn’t even mention him. It has been 4 months and our GAL report says that no abuse was found and it was not an emergency, but because this took so long (I started with a horrible lawyer), we now have to do reunification therapy. My ex has been trying to take the kids away since before we even separated 8 years ago. My daughter and I got into an argument and he used it to pull the trigger and take me to court. My new lawyer advised I am basically too emotional and also said I should absolutely not send this letter to my daughter. My texts and calls don’t go through. Her Dad has control of her phone and communication abruptly stopped. This has been awful. Can someone tell me what is wrong with this letter ?
