Should i bail out on a new car with hail damage?

I recently decided that I’m going to buy a car at its base trim. Then I found that they had a higher trim for the same price but apparently it’s just cosmetic hail damage? Should i not go for it? How can i find if that damage will be in future carfax and affect resale. And also should i take an extended warranty and such in cases like this? Thank you!

Can I and should I buy a new Corolla?

I am recent grad who makes 3k a month and for my work i travel nearly 60 miles a day. I’ve had some used cars over the past months and they’ve been super unreliable. I can’t do cash payments not even below 5k at the moment. But i need a car ASAP. i was looking into some CPO and some relatively newer cars and the interest rates and prices just don’t make sense. Makes me think if i should just lease or buy a Corolla, Civic or a Mazda3. Even if i lease i pay like 800$ over whatever i pay even if i drive a lot more than the limit. And buying too, really i get warranty and peace which i value more now that I’ve been stranded on the roads with unreliable cars.

This is from a reputable, atleast it has over 3k good reviews, Mazda dealer.
I’m a recent graduate and in need of a car for commute. And i don’t wanna be reckless spending money cheap unreliable cars. I’ve had a run in with these in the past few months and i want a good reliable car and this looks great but also suspicious for the price. Carfax shows 1 owner and no accidents whatsoever.
