It’s hard to be a fan

I’m taking double hits here cuz I’m also a Stroll fan but I’m finding it so hard to be a fan and stay excited when there have been no results and no improvements when we were promised improvements

I get my hopes up in FP and qualifying I always say they’ll overtake and then we get no results. Then people hate on Lance and say he’s moody and doesn’t wanna be there.

Ofc he doesn’t wanna be there, the car isn’t working and hasn’t worked. The last time he did good was in racing point and that was when? 6 years ago? It’s demoralizing. I’m not gonna like abandon the team or anything. They’re the goats but it’s frustrating.

I also feel strongly about FIA president stepping in to help the team just to keep Fernando but yeah.

Just wanted to know if anyone else felt this way

Helmet concept

I loveeee all the Canadian helmets Lance has brought. And his special helmets in general are really cool so I thought it would be neat to design one too.
I know it’s missing sponsors but I couldn’t be bothered to look all of them up and draw em. Thinking abt adding more leaves in the back, it’s looking plain

It’s not perfect but it does fit and I love it a lot. Took about 3 weeks on and off of working on it.

Michael Schumacher relic card

I’ve been hunting for an Ayrton Senna card for forever and I keep getting Michael Schumacher cards instead lol. So I was praying and hoping and I opened my pack and I got the relic card 😭

I’m not getting Ayrton Senna anytime soon and I refuse to just buy it individually, it’s gotta come from the gods

Lance’s retirement

So I watch the onboard and the race at the same time and I have a lot of respect for Lance (THERES NO HATE ON MY END). I like him a lot but man he complained that the tyres weren’t good so they boxed him, then he got angry that they boxed him.

I get the car isn’t good or anything and he’s racing. I’m not in the car I get that but bro🥲 they’re trying to fix what you’re complaining about.

Anyways. Heartbroken, devastated, crying etc etc

I hope to find out what actually happened with the car because it’s clear there was damage. Also he’s very entertaining to watch in a race, but stressful tho

Handmade Ayrton Senna helmet

I made a 1:1 replica of Senna’s helmet out of cardboard, EVA foam and paper mache and I’m super excited about it. I want to start selling them as well and I’m working on a 1:2 but I haven’t decided which design yet.

Enjoy it! It’s the first time I’ve ever made something like this and it does actually fit me! Although when I take it off it feels like my ears are gonna come off with it lol

My shelf of F1 stuff plus the other F1 things I have :)

I just started properly watching F1 this and I love collecting stuff.

Please enjoy the collection of stuff and most of the things I got from markets and friends. And I kindly asked Mercedes for signed cards in exchange for art and I got them! Also also, behind the George and Kimi cards is another signed Kimi piece from F2, next to Andrea Dupé.

I’ve just really been enjoying the sport and I’m learning everyday tbh. Also I picked a rough team to support. I know. But I’m in too deep.

If anyone has good sites to buy F1 mini models I’d love that too and I’m based in the Netherlands so I refuse to pay €30 for shipping from the US lmfao

I woke up like couple days ago to see a new follower on my insta and I check and it’s Aston Martin. And I’m so super confused and then they reach out asking if I wanted a bracelet. (HELL YEAH) and ofc i said yes. So im hyped and got nobody to share the joy with.

And I’m not like anyone of importance to F1. Just a fan 😭 but they check my stories now and I’m hoping they’ll see the painting I made but yknow. Here’s proof too 😋 I cut off my reply cuz that’s got my address lmfao but I’m hyped as hell
