Today, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) is issuing a final rule that permanently removes the requirement for U.S. companies and U.S. persons to report beneficial ownership information to FinCEN under the Corporate Transparency Act. The final rule is effective on its publication in the Federal Register. FinCEN today also announced that it will delete previously reported information by U.S. persons—now exempt from the reporting requirements—from the beneficial ownership information database. Under the final rule, foreign entities that are reporting companies will still be required to report beneficial ownership information for foreign individuals.

>- Another Indoor Pickleball Facility Is Coming to Huntsville!
Pickleball Kingdom is preparing to open a new for-fee indoor pickleball facility in Huntsville. The company recently opened locations near Birmingham and Nashville, and construction on the Huntsville location is now well underway.
The new facility is expected to feature:
-10 indoor courts
- Eight-foot baselines and five-foot sidelines
- Individually fenced courts
- Restrooms and showers
- A small pro shop
Pickleball Kingdom will be located in the Gas Light Alley area of Stovehouse, near the northeast corner of the Stovehouse property.
The current projection is for a possible September opening, although that timing may change as construction progresses.
This new facility will add another option to Huntsville’s growing list of indoor, for-fee pickleball venues, joining Pickleroom, The Barn, Rocket City Pickleball Club, and The Picklr.
It is exciting to see even more pickleball opportunities coming to the Huntsville area!
