i (29f) have been at my current job for almost 4 years now. it’s an ap job and i basically learned everything while i’ve been here. the job is fairly easy, with really flexible hours and a good start/end time. the thing that sucks? everything else. it’s a small company so people kinda just do whatever with no consequences. my supervisor sucks, their supervisor sucks, and overall it’s just a negative atmosphere to be around. people talk bad about and too each other, no one really cares. however, over the past year they’ve let me know they want me to take over as the supervisor for the department when my supervisor retires in a few years. actually, most of the higher up’s would be retiring in the next 5 years so the whole office would look different then. well i just got offered a job in a new company, very well known worldwide, better pay, better benefits, but.. commute is 35-45 minutes away. i would also need to go back to school to move up in this company. it also more restrictive on the flexible hours i have now. i think i know what the best option is for me, but i want to know everyone else’s opinion. should i wait it out and try to make a difference once i can? or jump ship while the opportunity is available?

my last period was 4/11 and i’m on a very regular cycle. we’ve been trying again for around 4 months after a chemical pregnancy in november and after that, my cycle immediately went back to normal. we tried again when i was supposed to be ovulating (according to flow app) and i got anxious and took a test 5/5 which was negative. took another 5/8, still nothing. now 5/13 and still no signs of a period at all. usually i spot a day or 2 before and i know it’s coming, but no signs at all that i usually get. i wanna test again but don’t wanna get my hopes up. the only thing that’s changed is i stared working out and eating better which has made me lose a little weight but idk if that could be the reason. has anyone gotten a positive even after a couple negatives?

i got an interview for a position that would be perfect for me as soon as i applied and everything was going so well, but i think im getting anxious and need reassurance. i applied about a week and a half ago (4/29 and immediately got an email for a phone screening on 5/1. that went great, got an email to be pushed on to a zoom with HR on 5/3, and did the interview on 5/5. The next day, I got another email to do an in person with the a supervisor and ended up also doing an interview with the department head, that happened on 5/8. I was told by the department head they would follow up with HR to get me an interview with the gm sometime this week. She even said specifically they were trying to expedite my application as much as possible. It’s only 5/12 but with how fast everything has been happening this seems like a “long” time. Anyways, should I follow up? I didn’t send a thank you after the interview, so idk. TLDR- how long to sit before i send a follow up? Don’t even know if i should send a follow up?
