I just happened to see a segment on the local Fox station while at the liquor store in Milwaukee and my ears perked up when Brian Ingram's name was mentioned. The Gnome was apparently robbed, and the news was running a piece about the number of burglaries he has gone through and the lack of response from the justice system. I know he's been in the spotlight for various things in the cities the past few years, so I find it very odd and suspicious that this piece would be running in Milwaukee where he does not have any affiliation as far as I know. Does anyone have any insight or theories as to if there's something going on here behind the scenes?

I arrived in France geared up for two weeks of bikepacking and camping. Unfortunately, Air France sent my baggage a day late, and then they lost track of it completely. I have since gotten to spend a few days in Paris (which I had built into the trip originally), but those two days have turned into six and I'm starting to give up hope on my stuff being found and still wanting to salvage part of the trip. Are there any last-minute options or suggestions that anyone has? Even if it's just for a few days I'm happy to try it out. I came here to bike and by God I'm going to do it.

I arrived at CDG on 5 August for a two week trip biking and camping around France. My luggage did not arrive with my flight, and I made a claim. I was originally told it was lost inside CDG.

On the morning of the 6th I called the airline and they said it was actually still in Chicago, and was on the flight that had just arrived, and that I should be receiving an update when it did arrive. I received no update after that moment.

On the 7th I returned to CDG and was told it had arrived, but was not scanned when it was taken off the belt and I would need to return on the 8th as it would take some time to extract it from storage. I was also told that it may have been shipped to my hostel, but I should have received communication about its delivery.

Today is the 8th, and I went back to CDG once again, where I was told the luggage was on the belt on the 6th and then it disappeared and there was no more record of it.

I'm at a loss as to my next steps, as my whole trip was planned around the contents of my luggage. I'm frustrated by the incorrect information and lack of updates or solutions given to me by Air France, and the fact that I have had to book a room in Paris every night and be on call to return to the airport with the expectation that everything would be fixed "tomorrow". I have tried to find out if it was potentially stolen, but have not made any progress in that area.

Anyway, I would love to know what advice any of you might have, thanks in advance.
