Looking for a game from my childhood. Could you guys help me out?

I don't know the name of it, but I can describe it. It was for the Genesis and it had a bright white title label on the cartridge. It was the official label.

The game was set in outer space and it had the oddest controls I've ever experienced at the time. You would start off in a mech and would walk on the terrain, shooting at enemies on the ground and in the sky. The odd control part comes from having to stop your forward motion, then hold up on the D-pad to adjust the trajectory of your aim.

I believe you could get power ups in-between levels. I don't think you ever got to actually fly, but I could be wrong. The reason I bring this up is because I hated that damn game and want to revisit it decades later with a different mindset. Does anyone know the game I'm talking about?

Thanks in advance.

Unsure if I can post this, but would you guys be able to tell me who this character is?

You guys remember the Juggernaut Bitch video? There's a character in there that I don't know the name of and I was wondering if you all could help me out. He's the blonde-haired guy in the green and yellow suit.

At around 6:23 in the vid, he says, "Not as long as I'm wearin' these Jamaican colors!"

Who is that guy? Thanks in advance.

What's the name of the engine that the older style Ys games were created with?

The games like Ark of Napishtim, Oath in Felghana, Origins, etc?

I really miss those types of Ys games; they were so damn fun. Are there any other games that play similarly to those?

Thanks in advance.

I recommend Voodoo Detective to anyone that enjoyed the Miles Edgeworth games.

In no way does it fill the void of not having an AAI3, but it does keep you going.

One of my better $10 purchases.
