Medicine in UAE
Is studying medicine in UAE worth it if my family is here? How are future/career prospects? Do you recommend going to UK instead but living alone?

Do MBRU university graduates have advantage over other universities, especially in MBRU residency or does it depend on EMREE scores and other clinicals only? I got accepted into Ajman so I dont know if I should complete A levels and join MBRU instead. Im non local.
Im not sure if im in the right sub but couldnt find one better. Im a premed student with 2 options, study med in UAE with family and become an img chasing US and German residencies or go to the UK for medicine and residency. With the closure of the UK, I presume residency in US and Germany will be more competitive. On the other hand, Im not sure if Im emotionally ready to leave family, and the length of 15 years avg. (college + specialisation) is very long. Im not planning to leave the middle east forever, however the system in the middle east favors west boards hugely. Any suggestions?
I just finished IAS level in school and planning to do IA levels, I thought of not registering in a school and doing exams in british council as Im not really benefiting, will that affect my chances in getting accepted for medicine?
I completed IAS in another country (12 years of school), can I complete IA levels at british council and then apply to university without attending a school? Im considering MBRU and UoS, and will it affect my chances?
I cant upload documents, nothing shows up when I click the symbol. Anybody having the same problem?
If the 6 year med program involves an internship year as the 6th year, do I need another separate internship year to apply for residency in Germany?
For those who had the chance to study in home but left for med school, do you regret it? I mean Im thinking of going abroad for a better education and guaranteed residency but it is a very long journey, and Im not sure if it worths, given that I’ll leave my family for approximately 15 years.
Home = UAE (not a citizen but where family is)
i’m still an undergraduate applying for med school. I have 2 paths since I’m outside EU, US or Germany. I somehow feel tension to live in an unsafe place, and i’m not sure if i can tolerate it. On the other hand, I need to learn C1 german from scratch, and Im scared that German becomes harder in the following years until I graduate. Any advice on which route to go? And is US actually unsafe?
Does MBRU accept IAS only without full A levels for Medical program?
Does MBRU accept AS only without full A levels for the medical program?
Is medicine in Ireland for non-EU citizens worth it or is it just a trap. RCSI provides scholarships, and you don’t need language but the fact that you dont get residency spots there is crazy. Is it worth it if you want to practice in Canada or USA?
Is it true that it is very hard for expats to get accepted in residency programs? I’m an Arab, Im hesitated in applying for medical college in uae as I heard that I have low chance to get into residency as they are mostly for citizens. Is it true?
