Xiaomi USB board repair failed

I've had an old Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S that had taken in water damage from the bottom side type c port. Phone was charging but without Quick Charge since USB data lines had failed, data transfer was also not possible. I've ordered an new bottom pcb replacement board that has the usb port, microphone, aux port etc.. Successfully replaced the board and the cable, but it didn't fix the issue. I can charge at 5V but the data lines not working. What else could be the problem?

Only the bottom side had slightl water damage with 1-2 rusted screws, top side and most of bottom side was perfectly clean.

Can I effectively edit open source projects with this setup?

There are many open source projects that I use but each is lacking at least one features that I need. I have no app development experience but understand coding fundamentals (years of C# and Unity experience)

I'm planning on buying used Tesla V100 16GB cards (1 or more if needed) and wanted to know if it would be possible to run coding agents to help me add my own features to these open source projects without fully learning app development? I've never used OpenCode or any other coding agents so I'm a bit clueless, is this actually a feasible goal with only 16GB or 32GB VRAM?

Connecting local services directly with NAT hole punching

Hello! I'm new to self-hosting and networking in general.

Both my ISP and Mobile Carrier are behind CGNAT, but I'm not sure what kind of NAT they use. Is there an easy way to find that out with websites or FOSS apps?

I don't wanna use Tailscale or Cloudflare tunnels and other 3rd party solutions. I do have an small VPS server avaliable that I can use as registration server for these two devices to do the initial handshake. I know VPN is also an option but I'd rather have direct connection with less latency. Any info and tips on the topic is appreciated.

Looking for an app that tracks Notifications history and filters them based on their content to show or not show

What the title says. I keep getting spammed by some apps I use but I can't block all notifications because I need some of them.

I had tried NotiFilter by BURG3R5 but it did not work, app kept crashing on my phone.

Xiaomi SMS təstiq kodu gəlmir!

Xiaomi telefonda Bootloader açmaq üçün SMS təstiqləmə istəyir, amma SMS kodu heç cürə gəlmir. Azərcell ve Nar nömrə ilə yoxlamışam, nömrə açıqdır və digər SMS'lər normal işləyir. 2-3 ay əvvəl də yoxlamışdım amma yenə eyni problem. Dəstək xidməti də kömək etmədi. Sizdə də bu problem var? Və ya son aylarda Xiaomi hesabında SMS ilə təstiq kodu ala bilmisiz?

Is RTX 2080 Ti worth buying in 2026? Would it survive for the next 5 years?

From what I've heard, most GPU's survive 8-10 years before failing. Rarely go above 10. I have found one locally for affordable price and what are chances that it will fail on me a year later?

Do Chinese VRAM upgraded cards fail often? RTX 2080 Ti 22GB

I'm considering buying RTX 2080 Ti 22GB modded GPU from China. But I've heard that a lot of these cards are taken out from mining rigs and pretty worn out. Just wanted to ask here if it's common to see these cards in this subreddit that fail after few months or years? For me it would be worth it if I could get 5 years of use out of it.

EDIT: And for.note, I'm wanting this for also running AI, so yes, 22GB is needed even though it won't make a big difference in gaming.

Looking for an VPN app that allows selectively applying the proxy on per app basis in Windows

I want to control which apps get VPN and which skips it. Already tried v2rayN which allows filtering based on URL, but it redirects network on all apps.

Free and OpenSource apps are preferred.

LineageOS istifadə edən var?

Xiaomi və Google bütün informasiyalarımı Çinə və Amerikaya göndərir. Bunun qarşısını almaq üçün LineageOS quraşdırmaq istəyirəm. Amma əsas problem, bu rom quraşdırdıqdan sonra Bootloader açıq qalır, buna görə də bəzi proqlamlar işləmir. Öyrənmək istəyirdim ki Azərbaycanda Bank proqramlarında problemlər yaranmır?

Just found out why YouTube videos keeps freezing despite having 100Mbit internet. Didn't know Google had servers in here, and they're as shitty as most things in this country...

This happens only on some of the videos and the pattern is that on these videos the connection is always from Azerbaijan. Meanwhile those videos that don't freeze every minute is usually streamed from Germany or other EU countries. I've fixed the issue by blocking the "rr6---sn-c53uxax3vh-btqr.googlevideo.com" AZ domain and this seems to fix the issue so far. Not sure if domains are static or changing, if it's changing then this might only be a temporary fix...

▲ 130 r/Bitwarden

One of major turn-off's for me is how ugly this UI is. It uses rectangular windows that doesn't match with the round cornered fields used everywhere today. It has blue tint, which is meh. But most importantly, it covers so much screen space with big Icons and URL which isn't needed at all, I already know I'm on reddit, I don't need Bitwarden to tell me on each field.
