I just graduated from uni & applied to be a 9-1-1 call-taker. I passed the criticall exam and personality assessment. I already had a mini meeting with the hiring manager, we discussed a bit about salary, schedule, culture, etc. She did mention that mental health is a priority, so I'll probably ask more about what their support systems look like.

They can only give me morphine every 4 hours but I’m in so much fucking pain.
I’m also so anxious for some reason and cannot stop crying - which is very out of character for me. They said there’s no anxiety meds on my chart so they have to reach out to the doctor. I asked them to reach out to the doctor over an hour and a half ago. I’m just shaking and crying & waiting. It’s getting harder and harder to breathe.
