why would harrison funk go to such lengths to destroy photos of michael jackson and jordan chandler if they were innocent?

in the middle of this case, producing photos of michael jackson and jordan chandler together could have strengthened their argument that their friendship was innocent. instead, harrison funk and mj's team went to great lengths to "kill and suppress" these photos, with harrison even saying they're "under lock and key" in case anything happens to him. the way he talks about it doesn't exactly make it sound like they were ordinary, harmless photos

and a photoshoot of jordan that michael paid for was also killed and suppressed???? very concerning

michael blatantly lied and constantly contradicted himself, yet fans still treat him as the ultimate source of truth. exhibit A:

he could've easily said he preferred not to answer but instead went on to tell two completely different stories. and this is just one example. he lied so much and so casually that, once you realise it, you start looking at everything he's ever said through a different lens

the blatant denial of what mj did and the constant deflection to diana ross is mind boggling. denying facts now gets 500+ likes

it's ironic how much energy defenders put into diana ross despite the weak evidence and michael himself saying their relationship was all in his head, while ignoring the FACTS about what michael has actually done

Disciple is a bonus track on Lisa Marie Presley’s debut album, entitled To Whom It May Concern. The song was confirmed in a Rolling Stone interview in 2003 to have been written about her ex-husband and pop icon Michael Jackson.

i've noticed more and more that stan talking points actually come directly from the lies and misinformation michael himself, the jacksons, mesereau and others have spread

the actual bedroom where michael was sleeping in at neverland was surprisingly smaller than i expected, especially given how much people love to talk about its size. even macaulay culkin said it was "two stories" but the upstairs part where the bed is actually located is pretty small and looks like it has a regular king size bed

la toya's vs wade's recanting

edit: can't edit the title but meant to write recantation, oops

something i've recently realised in the MJ fandom discussions is how differently people treat la toya's recantation compared to wade robson's

with la toya, when she later walked back parts of what she'd previously said about michael (claiming alleged abuse by jack gordon), fans often use that recantation as strong evidence that her original statements weren't reliable and can just be dismissed entirely. when anyone mentions what la toya said, i always see 5-10 comments underneath reminding the OP that she "took back her claims". it's treated almost like the recantation permanently wipes out anything she ever said about michael - and she said A LOT. this is also michael's older sister, someone who lived with him for a long time, was very close with him and was very consistent, coherent and didn't come across as coached or confused when making her statements about michael and his behaviour. on top of that, some of what she mentioned in the 90s ended up aligning, such as jimmy safechuck's allegations, which people dont factor in at all

but with wade robson, the same standard doesnt apply. even though his position has shifted over time and he has explained in detail why that shift happened and how he came to that realisation, fans tend to downplay or outright dismiss the recantation and instead focus only on what he said during the trial and in the years prior

the double standard is glaring
