So I feed stray cats everyday right outside my door, I give out sometimes my scraps, sometimes i buy them fish or chicken. I have been doing this for a year now with no problem. Cats come and go, they eat, they are happy, I am happy.

But just the other day this new kitten has arrived. Well at first he was very affectionate and was clinging to me, he wanted to go inside the house but I told him “i cannot let you in, im not ready to adopt a cat”. He suddenly bit my ankle. So i had to get a shot because of that.

Now he is guarding my doorstep like he is leonidas from 300. Other cats now cannot eat at peace like they usually do, he is just there and he will attack other cats who try to go to my front door and eat food. This is bad because those cats are very nice to me, i have zero problems with them and I have been feeding them for like 6-10 months now.

Unfortunately the aggression has now turned towards me also. I cannot go out of the front door, i have to use the emergency exit now. Because if I do he will follow me I mean follow me even if I cross the street which isn’t safe. And also he will bite if you try to ignore him and tell him “no”.

I don’t know what to do because I do not want to fight the cat back but at this point maybe that’s my only option. I have a water sprayer ready and I do not want to use it, i really want to just be peaceful with her.

What would you guys do in my situation?
