How to know my hourly rate and the differences between them .

I wanted to know how can I check my hourly rate ,and want to know how much am I getting paid per different times.
For example, I’ve heard that overnight works get paid more. Is it gonna be the same if I am doing visuals counts and closing?
Or do they have the same rate?
I have a feeling that it is hidden in the pay portal page on the people’s website. But also my gut tells me there is a place that you signed the contract in a way for all of these. I don’t know. I’m totally ignorant. when it comes to this, so help me please.

Should I improve my metrics specially business intros

I am stuck in a weird situation, where i don’t know if i should boost my metrics or not. I am currently at 25 intro per quarter as a pt specialist. However i can definitely get it to 40 every quarter no problem. The reason i didn’t do it last quarter i dont want the expectation of managers to go high and tell me to do every quarter and im stuck in a no way back situation.
I want to have less pressure and be safe.
Im looking to become expert and i believe im next in line. However i don’t want to be stuck in high metric and miss up the interview too and now they tell me u did it last quarter do it now too.
I also saw a comment of a veteran recommending to always do the bare minimum. But my plan is to get as high as possible in apple retail world as soon as possible, so if they fire me because i didn’t hit ac+ metrics couple of quarters . At least i have expert/pro on my resume from here than a specialist .

Need a side hustle for a rainy day fund

I have a part time job rn which pay and benefits are good. I make ends meet. And sometimes i have to wait one or two days for the check cuz i ran out . My job has a crazy schedule if i touch full availability then i will have way less hours, so i can’t risk being of the track for fulltime, by taking another part time. So any recommendations on versatility job im not greedy literally only few hundred works.
Also i cant do uber eats, doordash or lyft. Because they require u to have atleat one year of experience as a driver.
🙏 thanks

What is your KC money saving hack for this current economy

I think with our current economy and the bad trend that has been having , we should share things or ways that saves us money with each other.
Unfortunately, I don’t have one myself to share the best that I can think is buying gas from Sam’s Club a couple of times that I checked it was the cheapest out of all.

Funny bits you use at work during transactions or with your work bestie

What are some of your funny bits that you use at work?
I’ve seen some of my coworkers have some which can make working a little bit fun.
One of my coworkers whenever he sold a gift card, he would tell them don’t spend it all at one place.
Or when i went to a manager and asked i have a quick question they would say i have a quick answer.
I also would love to know what are some funny ways you explain some terms to the customer.

What to learn making pizza any recommendations

I have been obsessed with this guy on tiktok that makes pizza and lets it ferment for days.
And want to make it myself but want to get ton of experience at first too. Since making it at home first gonna be expensive and time consuming. From ingredients to a decent oven what if i not good at it then its a waste of money.
So if anybody has a restaurant and want a non paid intern i m willing to help out.
Also a school or a budget friendly course would work too.
I love cocking but i suck at making dough.
🙏 Thanks🙏

I work in a apple store in south, and midway into the shift, one the people who i really like at work got a anxiety attack. I really wanted to help him but since it was handled and involved managers i didn’t wanted to make it worse for him.
I don’t know what could have i done to at least give him some support.
This is the reason for this post those who have had anxiety attacks at work what would u have appreciated. And those who have done something what something that worked.

How do u guys stand up for ur selfs against rude customer wanting just to make a scene

I just wanted to know, what sentences and how do you tell that rude customer dont talk to me like this, without getting in trouble.
Im sick of them getting mad over a couple of dollars for something i didn’t do wrong.
They be like oh someone else told me this or that and now im gonna make your day worse.
Also those customers who come for a fight not to get helped.
Also in our store we have some innocent teammates who are like angels on earth i want to defend them if needed save them the trauma by taking over for them.
🙏 thanks.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received about mentoring coworkers? What are the biggest dos and don’ts?

I chatted with my Connection Coach at work recently, and they mentioned I’m in a great spot to start coaching or mentoring others. They also suggested that sharing a story about helping or mentoring a coworker could really boost my chances for future opportunities.

I would love to learn from those who’ve actually done it.

For anyone who’s mentored, coached, or helped colleagues at work:

-What are your top tips and what should you avoid?
-How do you support someone without seeming bossy or making them feel judged?
-How do you build trust with someone you’re coaching?
-Have you ever had mentoring backfire? If so, what went wrong and what did you learn?
-What habits helped you become a better coach or mentor?
