I rewatched Edgerunners recently and decided to make this tribute, hope you guys enjoy it!

I know a lot of people want Devon to go the Darth Talon route "as George intended", but would his idea of Maul and Talon as the main villains of a trilogy of films really work, or at least do you see it being anywhere near as emotionally impactful as his role is currently?

So much of what I love about the character is rooted in the fact that he is not the biggest fish in the dark side sea, that he is constantly failing, that he is an underdog who ends up fighting against a far greater evil (even if it is for his own selfish ends).

Not to mention the fact that he doesn't really care for anything beyond getting revenge on Palpatine and Kenobi. Obviously if he managed to outlast them both he would inevitably turn his sights on gaining more power for himself, but almost all of his motivation (and most of the characters that he has history with and can relate to) would be gone.

And mind you this idea for him and Talon as the big bads was, by all accounts, just one of 6 or so different ideas George had at some point (kind of on a whim) and one he probably would have changed his mind on at some point given his track record in doing so (much like Leia being revealed as the chosen one).

But do you think the idea had merit, or are you glad Maul has been permanently sent to the sidelines to push his boulder up a hill?
