This will be my first and maybe my only F1 event. I want to try to make the most of it by going to team events while there. Is there a full list of F1 and team events for the week/weekend of the event?
They are telling pilots we are well compensated. Let them know what you think.
We have a pot filler that I installed by tying into the cold water line that feeds our kitchen sink. I ran the line through our unfinished basement using pex A and uponor expansion fittings. I used the battery powered Milwaukee expansion tool. None of the fittings leak but occasionally (maybe once every other week) we will get a very small amount of water leaking out of the fixture, about a tablespoon of water. I also notice that if the kitchen sink has not been used in a while the water will come out at a higher pressure when you first turn it on, cold side.
We do have a hot water recirculating line. It is all on the hot water side and tees back into the cold water line just before it goes into the hot water heater per the manual's instructions. That was installed by the plumbing company when the house was built. They used a shark bite one way valve upstream of the connection that is supposed to stop back feeding into the cold water line.
Any idea why we are getting pressure built up on the cold water side of our lines and what a possible solution would be? I assume the leaking pot filler is just the weakest link in the chain causing it to leak when there is too much pressure?
I just heard from my AirBnB they are going to cancel my reservation. They have the place rented out long term and it will be during my stay. Ugh this sucks. Has this happened to anyone else? I wanted to be as close to downtown Austin as possible as I plan on checking out the town and BBQ scene while there. I made a post in the AirBnB subreddit and they said Austin, TX is about to start requiring hosts to get licenses to be a host and only going to give out so many at a time. There may be more people cancelled on soon. Anyone got an extra room downtown I can stay in? haha I would only be there to sleep.
I am going to Austin, TX in October for the Formula 1 race. I booked my AirBnB months ago. Now the host is telling me they may need to cancel but they won't know until August. They say the space may not be available from Sep-Jan without giving further details. They said I can cancel now if I want instead of waiting. I know not to do that because I will lose half of my deposit.
My dilemma is the longer I wait to look for somewhere else to stay the harder and more expensive it will be. I asked the host if they are going to cancel to do it as soon as possible so I can look for somewhere else to stay. Is there anything else I can do now to help with my situation?
Never heard of Jellyfish till I found one. I tagged it as TIL but I don't understand why I am able to eliminate the red 9s vs the blue ones.
I currently use a 5.1 setup with definitive technology pro cinema 1000 fronts, pro center 1000 and polar SR-8080bp surround backs. I want to upgrade to a 7.1.4 maybe a second sub eventually. I will need an amp to free up channels on the Denon 3800. Which 3 channel amp would you recommend to power the front? Floor speakers are not really an option since the speakers go above built in cabinets so I will probably get 2 more pro cinema 1000s for the surround so they match. What do you recommend for the in ceiling speakers to go with that setup? The sub is a SVS 1000 if that matters.
I am going to the F1 race, grandstand 15 top row, there is a handicap row above my seat. Grandstand 15 is not covered, are little umbrellas that attach to the seat back allowed? Umbrellas are not mentioned on the COTA FAQ website.
I will be buying my first robot mower soon and I have narrowed it down to these 2 options. Pros for the navimow to me are a better app design and real front wheels which are supposed to harm the lawn less. The pros for the mova seem to be a user replaceable battery, lidar over nRTK, and better edging (although people say it scalps the lawn). I don't have that much tree overhang but all of the houses are 2 stories tall and I have a .75arce yard with lots of trim work around a fence. Does either one handle going through a gate it has to push open well? Feedback on either would be appreciated, I'm not finding a direct comparison on YouTube.
