I want to create a higher quality version of this pfp as a placeholder asset.
Steam has a wonderful default profile picture, which I want to use as a placeholder asset. However, all versions of it I can find are jpeg-compressed, and I'd love to make it myself to have a lossless version. What font is this question mark in?
I want to create little cards for players that will have their username and avatar. I already know to obtain their names through Player["Color"].steam_name. However, I'm not sure how to get a reliable image link for players' avatars. I looked briefly into Steam's Web API but I don't have a domain I want to use to obtain an API key, since it's entirely run in game. Is there anything I can use in game to obtain their icons?
I prefer playing Black over White, using openings like the Dutch and Scandinavian. I like them because they tend to be "No, you're playing My game" kind of openings, limiting the rational responses that the opponent can make.
Are there any good openings for White that tend to "force" your opening in a way? Ones where there are fewer lines that Black can take without making mistakes, even if the opening itself isn't as optimal for White.
Hello! I have a laptop and a desktop that I regularly use, both on Debian 13 & Plasma, and I want to have a dedicated folder on both machines that sync with each other when they're both on the same network. This is different from regular file sharing (I've looked into KDE Connect and Samba), as I want it to update real time as long as they're both on the same network, sort of like working with OneDrive but without any cloud service. Perhaps I've missed something with Connect or Samba, or there's something else I'd need to use. Either way, if anyone knows how to make this happen, please let me know! Thank you ^^
