Kira compared to a dictator (spoilers)

People often compare Kira to dictators or call him a fascist, mostly because of the god complex shit, but I think the traits that differentiate him from a typical fascist are more interesting.

Fascists want to preserve ''superior'' people. This logic basically sides with the oppressor in any circumstance. A bully overpowers their victim, the victim is ''weak'' and therefore not worth preserving. That's like the opposite of Light's idea of a better world.

Someone could say that Light just killed random criminals without knowing what they might've went through, but that's not necessarily true.
,,Kira does not punish those who kill without intent, those who feel sincere remorse, or those with excusable circumstances.''
It's like he somehow managed to be a dictator while also being woke. I wonder if he slowly killed racists with diseases.

yoo i passed math

Had an exam today because I failed like the actual class. I've been constantly struggling in high school, not even because I didn't understand shit but because I couldn't bring myself to start studying. Math was the 1 thing I couldn't rawdog or cheat on.
I got diagnosed a few months ago and just recently got put on a dose that works well for me. Learning the material took me like 2 weeks and now my mind is blown. It's upsetting how much this disorder has been holding me back, but hey it's only been getting better.

light and ryuk relation

It stuck out to me when Ryuk asked Light ,,but wouldn't that make you the only bad person left?'' after Light told him his plan. That doesn't add up with his claims about being on neither side. He also gave Light several warnings and I've been wondering what was the purpose of that. It's almost like he was hinting ,,you're gonna get fucked in the end and your life will be ruined. Are you sure you wanna do this?'' .
Needless to say, he got his entertainment and probably didn't care about anyone involved, but that doesn't mean he didn't have opinions. Even if you're not rooting for the villain, you don't want them killed off early if they make the show interesting.
I have a feeling that deep down Ryuk knew Light was morally fucked. You can be cool with someone and not be their true friend. If shinigamis had phones and could text each other i'm 50% sure he'd be talking shit

[SPOILERS] It was smart of Light to not take the shinigami eyes deal

I've seen a lot of people say the exact opposite. That he should've taken the deal, it would make him unstoppable, etc. I disagree. It wouldn't serve Light's main goal to become a God, but also, it's not like the deal was time limited. We've seen Higuchi make the deal as a last resort, when he already had cops on his ass. That's what I would've done as well, not make the deal unless it becomes necessary to survive.

...Light ultimately lost, so, follow up question - if you were him, would you take the eye deal? And when? As soon as Ryuk brought it up, or in a specific situation that happened later on?

(theory) Why musicians hate marketing

I think the main issue is that independent musicians need to be extremely direct for their promo to be effective. Someone famous can post something purposely vague and be inactive for months because we all know what they do anyway. They can treat marketing like a form of art, focus on music videos, fashion and photoshoots.

If you want to ''pull yourself by the bootstraps'', you need to explain what you do and give people directions, which feels humiliating. You need to join groups and send dms, but accessibility makes you look unimportant. Everyone tells you to be consistent, but spam makes you look unprofessional. That's why the big names don't do it. To promote through content, you need some sort of direct call-to-action. Post a link, tell them to stream, tell them to buy. Nobody likes doing that.

Art is meant to be at least a little bit ambiguous and open for interpretation. When abstract art is displayed in a museum, it isn't displayed as a ,,case study'', there isn't a dude standing in front of it and explaining the full meaning and the thought process and blabalbalhbla. It's like explaining a joke or sending an unsolicited dick pic to your crush.
That's what independent artists are forced to do to not get stomped out by the algorythm. Idk how this problem can be solved, but it should be.

Portfolio review?

For context, I'm from Poland and recently graduated from a technical school (I think that's the English name for it). I was a graphic design and printing technician and got a certificate from it, but I'm not in higher education yet and haven't worked on any professional projects. So, the ceiling of my ambition is becoming a junior or doing freelance work for artists and stuff like that. Here's what I made so far for my portfolio. What do you think about it? Should I publish it?

Is it a good idea to start as a freelancer?

People often say that it's not, but landing a regular job in this field is really difficult. My current position definitely doesn't help, as I am 19 and not in higher education as of now (I'm in Poland and we have a different education system. I just graduated from what is technically ''high school").

I'd consider myself competent. I'm mostly interested in visual identity, so I'll be making case studies and moodboards and all that shit. I'll publish it on a website, I plan to actually buy a domain and design the ui. My goal is to become independent some day, not "pull myself by the bootstraps" and land a decent position in a company after 10 years of school and experience. Not looking down on those who do it that way, it's just not my ideal future.

Thing introverts do

Anyone else noticed this phenomenon that a lot of introverts seem to dislike casual hangouts? They're always like ''but what are we gonna do?'' and I don't fully get it. I thought that people go out to socialize and talk, not because they think Mcdonalds is super exciting.
Like what the fuck do u want? They be like ''bro it's gonna be boring there's nothing to do. if there was like an orchestra performing in flames and juggling elephants shooting lasers out of their eyes then I'd go but a burger doesn't do that for me. as a thrill seeking person, I'm gonna turn down your boring offer and spend my evening watching youtube videos''
