I have a symptomatic hyperkinetic gallbladder. It's kind of rare (it's the opposite of most gallbladder issues which stem from HYPOkinetic gallbladders) and docs don't really know much about it. UW Gastro Montlake is booked for the rest of the year. Anyone by chance know of a good gastroenterologist in Seattle, Washington, with some experience with this? I need someone who can help me rule out other things before landing on gallbladder removal (though I am OK with that, too). I know it's a long shot but even my own GPs aren't sure who to send me to.

Would love to hear your recommendations for local (on the Duwamish peninsula) places to donate/recycle the following to make the greatest positive impact:

(1) Electronics [also, how do you make sure all your personal stuff has been removed if you aren't particularly technical?]
(2) Gardening stuff
(3) Women's clothes [Clothesline?]
(4) Books [Senior Center Thrift Shop?]
(5) Other stuff

I'm not looking to make money, but I'd like things to find good homes or be resold to support quality nonprofit programs that really help people. I am not seeking recommendations of how to sell them myself or anything on Facebook (e.g., buy nothing). I'm done with Facebook for all the reasons. We're happy to clean, box, and transport items ourselves.

Also - out of curiosity - side question: what do you all do with all the opened bottles of supplements, lotions, and potions that you try that don't work out for you?

Please consider leaving water out for the birds and such. It's pretty hot and there aren't many sources of fresh water in our area. Just a shallow dish of water could mean the difference for a hot and tired wild animal.

My poor hummingbirds came to an empty feeder today in droves hoping for a drop to drink. I refilled the feeder as quickly as I could (as soon as the Zoom calls ended :).
