Question about Osap probation

I was placed on osap probation for first year, but before second year I had my osap status switched to disability. I then passed all 2 courses first sem, then in second sem I passed 1 course, and failed 1. Then in third sem I took 2 more courses, and the course I failed, and passed all 3.

Will I still be on osap restriction?

Calling out shit tests while dating/ in a “talking stage” should be normalized.

A shit test for those who don’t know, is a way to subtly test a potential or current romantic partner, and a lot of women are really good at it, by doing it in such a subtle way that if you call them out on it, they can act like they don’t know what your talking about, and make you look/sound crazy. I don’t know the psychology behind it, but it’s quite a common phenomenon.

It makes no sense to me how other men will just tolerate blatant disrespect or emotional manipulation from someone they’re interested in, and act like it never happened, or refuse to acknowledge it.

(I’m talking about men’s experiences because I am one and speaking to the experiences I see other men go through, not generalizing and acting like men don’t do shit tests too.)

What I don’t understand is why this isn’t called out more often. It would deter this a whole lot. I always call out shit tests, no matter what. Depending on the severity, I might just stop communicating with that person entirely.

An example I’ll give is that a girl I went on a few dates with, would try and shit test me by posting on her instagram stories in such a way that it’s as though she was subconsciously communicating with me in a way that only I would understand, to try and fuck with me.

I dm’ed her and said “I’m not going to tolerate this, we are grown adults, let’s communicate directly instead of doing some high school shit.“ (paraphrasing) and she never did anything like that again. We ended up dating for quite a while after, and it was great.

Another example of this, was a girl that I was “talking” to, was at a party that I hosted, at my place, with a bunch of friends. She did the classic shit test of trying to flirt with one of my friends extra loud, to try and fuck with me. Doing shit like flirting with him, and subtly throwing shade my way with stuff I told her in private, in a way that only I would know.

A lot of the times girls do this to try and fuck with the guy, and it will make the guy she’s shit testing resent the guy she’s flirting with for a while, hating him for basically no reason, and want to be with the girl even more. Just blatant emotional manipulation. Alot of people never call it out, because they think they will look crazy if they do.

What I did was call this out in front of everyone. I didn’t yell, I just asked “what are you doing this for? What do you get out of this?” And wanted to understand her thought process behind it. She acted like she didn’t know what I was talking about, and tried to make me sound crazy, so I politely told her to leave, ordered her an uber home, and I unfollowed/unfriended her on every single platform.

I don’t understand why we don’t just call this out.

People should not tolerate shit tests, men or women. We need to shame this behaviour. People need to set higher standards for themselves, and cut this out.

The eglinton crosstown LRT is finished, and has been operational for a few months now. How do you feel about it?

I enjoyed the reduced wait times, and it is quite fast, speed wise. However I think a couple of stations that are close together could be consolidated. What do you guys think?

Does anyone actually know how to use the path?

I go to tmu, and want to use the path to walk from union to eaton centre to get to school. I am experienced with transit, and the TTC here, so I thought it’d be pretty simple, but I asked 7 staff how to get there and none of them could even give an answer. Is this a normal experience in Toronto?

Bay Street/union has traffic special constables, directing cars. What do you think of this, and do you want them in other areas?

I think it's great to have them on bay street, as it helps with the flow of traffic, and also doubles as having authority figures nearby to help in case of an emergency. I want to see them added to Yonge Street, Sherborne, and other areas. What about you?

Drake driving during his first iceman Stream is a sub to those who think he fell off.

He's been schauferred almost everywhere he goes, but he still knows how to drive, and does it incredibly well. Checking his blindspots, following the rules of the road, especially in a truck it's a huge feat.

This is telling those that think he fell off, that just because he doesn't choose to dominate like he did before, that he can still dominate the music game like he did back in the day.

It's genuinely a masterclass of subliminal messaging.

I always hear people say “there’s no great comedy movies right now” compared to the 2000’s and 2010’s, where we had classic after classic. To name a few:

Ted movies

Anchorman

Superbad

Jump streets

Hangovers

40 year old virgin

This is the end

Popstar never stop never stopping

Naming a few. I was wondering if there were any released this decade, that may have been under looked, or I’m looking at this with rose coloured glasses, but I have not heard of many comedies this decade doing well. Off the top of my head, I can only name the naked gun reboot, and that time loop movie with andy samberg. What are some great comedies released this decade, that may have been under looked?
