The idiot's dream has come true.

I now have a tandem Mercedes. I've been hunting for a drift shell for ages, and now I've got it. I'm deeply satisfied. The body needs a polish, so I'll be doing that in my spare time. For now, I've only removed the dirt and old stickers.

G500 - test run.

The following were recently installed on the rig: a new Hobbywing Xerun 540L 1400kv motor paired with a Hobbywing Axe Plus R3 ESC, an AGFRC A81BMWP Special Edition 2026 servo, and 100mm shocks. Control is handled by a Sense S10 radio system.

The first run showed smooth, predictable performance from all electronics. The motor and ESC combination behaves with restraint and precision — response is soft, jerk-free, and low-speed control is very precise. As revs build, torque arrives without fuss, exactly when needed. The servo works quickly and quietly, holding the intended line even on loose terrain — the stated torque and speed are more than sufficient. The new shocks calmly soak up small irregularities and resist bottoming out on moderate obstacles; the ride has become noticeably smoother.

The Sense S10 radio provides a stable link and a transparent, lag-free feel for the model. There are enough adjustments to fine-tune it to your driving style, and the display is easy to read without pulling attention away from the trail.

Overall, the test can be considered steady and successful. All components are working normally, with no complaints after the run.
