Export meter readings?

Export meter readings?

I hope this isn’t a stupid question?! Am about to switch to EDF from Octopus for my export. How do I take a reading of my export meter? Is it taken from my main smart meter, or is it from the additional meter installed when my solar was put in (pictured above)? I’ve never needed an export reading before as Octopus have always seen this automatically, but I believe this may be needed now so my payments can be backdated when I switch?

Blood donor

I’ve been on MJ for just over a year, reaching a healthy BMI of 21.5 and maintaining at 6mg for past 6 months. I’m thinking of becoming a blood donor for the first time. Does anyone know if being on MJ would affect my eligibility to give blood or might cause any issues?

Go or IGo?

I’m currently on Go, variable, where I’ve been for some time. I have solar and batteries and until recently have mainly used the tariff to charge my house batteries during the cheap 5 hours at night. I use very little peak energy from the grid during the day. I have recently bought an EV and am also charging this at night and the 5 hour window I have is more than enough to cover my charging needs. My dilemma is this: I can get a slightly better rate and fix it for a year on intelligent Go. I would also get an extra hour a night at the cheap rate. My car and charger are both compatible with IOG. But I don’t want to hand over control to Octopus of my charging schedule. I like setting the charger and knowing what’s going on with the house. I don’t like the idea of them taking over and the car charging at random times. Can I still use iog in the same way I currently use Go, ie charge the car and house batteries in the cheap off peak period? I know you have to let Octopus do the occasional smart charge to keep the tariff, but can this be turned on and off to allow me to control the majority of my car charging?

Hi all. Just got a 2022 performance pro family and think I need sill protectors to stop the dogs scratching the door sills and rear boot sill when they get on and out. Does anyone have any recommendations for these? I see the official VW ones are very expensive but are the cheaper ones on Amazon etc any good or worth considering? Thanks.
