I have no idea how these awards work, as I’m not from the UK, but as happy as I am for Vicky's nomination for Best Actress and, of course, for Swarla's nomination for Best Partnership, can someone explain why Ali isn’t considered? I know she’s won in the past, but her performance during the Becky storyline and Corriedale was mind-blowing.

I just wonder why she’s always forgotten. Hopefully, she can win Soap Superstar. I think she deserves something like that, given this is Carla’s 20 year anniversary. I would like to see her win this year. Also, I’m stuck between Sue and Vicky because that dementia storyline had me. 😭

I saw a TikTok of the DGD kiss around last year, just as the Becky storyline was happening. I was so confused when I heard it was a soap that had been around for 60 years. I was so overwhelmed and didn't know where to start, but I just started with Swarla and then began watching Carla's scenes, which I'm still behind on. But yeah, TikTok introduced me to them. How about you?

Are we seeing the girls this week or not. I already miss them. Also when do we see all of them together again including Ryan. I’m missing the Ryan/Betsy and the Connor-Swain dynamic.

This is so random, but I’ve been curious as to why this forum doesn’t get a lot of traction. I’m asking because clearly the fandom is growing and very much alive on X and other socials, but I’d have thought many would flock here too for discussions and whatnot. If you look at that anonymous site, there are always people having discussions; same with X and even TikTok, but here it’s radio silence. I’d quite frankly enjoy more discussions and stuff, but maybe a quiet sub is a good thing, you know? I do know that the main Corrie sub is mostly anti-Swarla, so I get that, but why don’t Swarla fans come here?

I always heard about AO3, but I used to assume it was silly and not all that impressive. I understand the hype now. For the past two months, all I’ve been doing is reading. I used to read on Wattpad, but this feels like a whole new world. It’s so amazing I could cry.

I’m sad I never got to experience this as a teen, but I’m glad I found it in my 20s. People are incredibly talented. Like I feel so excited when I get an email like who’s excited to check emails. 😭
