6 months update, still positive for HPV 58 and 66 (33F)
I am feeling a bit pessimistic right now because I believe I contracted the virus between September and December of last year, so it has been around for some time.
I just repeated the test—I took the new one on August 10th and did the whole STI panel again just in case to compare it with my original test from January 21st. Back then, I tested positive for HPV, Streptococcus, Gardnerella, and Candida. My pap smear from early February actually came back fine, and now everything on the STI panel is negative except for the HPV (strains 58 and 66). I didn't take any antibiotics during this time, so I guess at least the lactobacillus helped to restore vaginal health!
That first test in January showed my viral load was quite minimal, with a 34.7 CT value. However, the CT value is not shown on my new results from August 10th, so I don't know if it's currently the same or higher. I haven't done any pap smear this time but I might ask for one.
To be honest, I feel quite down because I have been very proactive in trying to help my body fight this off, but now I feel like maybe it's still too soon, or perhaps all these supplements haven't helped at all.
This is the exact routine and duration of everything I have been taking so far in 2026:
Tynbiotic Intimmune: 1 sachet per day for 3 months (taken from Feb 4th to May 3rd). It contains fiber and Shiitake mushroom extract. It also includes 5 mg each of the following probiotic strains:
Lactobacillus rhamnosus
Lactobacillus gasseri
Lactobacillus reuteri
Bifidobacterium adolescentis
Papilocare Inmunocaps: 1 capsule per day for 3 months (taken from March 19th to June 16th). It contains Reishi mushroom extract and 100 mg of active lactobacillus split into:
Lactobacillus crispatus (1.0 x 10^10 CFU)
Lactobacillus rhamnosus (2.5 x 10^9 CFU)
Lactobacillus gasseri (2.5 x 10^9 CFU)
Papilocare Vaginal Gel: Used every day except during my period for 5 months so far (started mid-March, my current 6-month cycle ends in mid-September, but I plan to keep using it long-term for maintenance to repair and protect the cervix mucosa).
Pervistop: 1 tablet per day for 3 months so far (started on May 12th, active until October 18th to complete a 5-month cycle).
Fem-Dophilus (Jarrow Formulas): 1 capsule per day for 2 months so far (started on June 13th, still active). I just started my 3rd bottle to complete a full 3-month cycle for vaginal flora. It features the Astarte® probiotic blend (250 mg / 10 Billion CFU) containing:
Lactobacillus crispatus LBV88
Lactobacillus gasseri LBV150N
Lactobacillus plantarum UALP-05™
Lactobacillus rhamnosus LBV96
Lactobacillus jensenii LBV116
Bifidobacterium lactis BB-12®
AHCC (Kinoko Platinum / Papiloxyl): Active for almost 2 months so far (started on June 21st, my current bottle lasts until August 22nd, but I plan to keep taking it for 6 months in total). I didn't increase my dosage; I just switched brands because it was cheaper. With the first brand I took 4 capsules a day, and with the new one I have to take 6 capsules a day to get 3000 mg of pure AHCC.
Sedistress (Passiflora extract): Taken as needed for stress and anxiety management (the leaflet allows up to 8 tablets a day). I added this to my routine because I have been sleeping very poorly lately due to all the worry.
I have noticed some leg redness over the last two months, which might be a mix of the summer heat and the high-dose supplements, but otherwise no major issues.
