The new Waterfall Giant background on Beta Patch 0.107.0 is so relaxing 🤗

Didn't realize the patch was out yet and I got pleasantly surprised lol

Nail-biting buzzer beater in the 2nd round of the first STS 2 Creator Tournament Devour The Tower!

u/JapaneseExport's team actually died to the last boss once, and had to play through all 3 Acts one more time, but JapaneseExport (Jason) clutches it for his team and beats the boss just in time!

This tournament is currently LIVE on Twitch, if you are interested in multiple 4-player teams racing against each other, hosted by Frostprime and Otzdarva, don't miss it! The teams are in the comments!

edit: For people who missed the live, here's the entire stream on YT: ⚔️ The First STS 2 Creator Tournament ⚔️

Ancients are, in my opinion, the most refreshing change in the sequel. We went from a total of 30 boss relics (11 of them were unique to characters) to a total of 72 Ancient rewards (not counting Neow).

I was just bored on the subway and was playing a STS run on my phone for the first time since STS2 got released, and this was the Act 1 boss reward.

Compared to the interesting things Orobas, Tez, Pael, Nonu, Vakuu and Tanx can give you (even Darv to some extent I think because seeing the original game's relics once in a while is refreshing), STS boss rewards seem repetitive and somewhat stale to me. Sure we had some powerful relics like Coffee Dripper, Pandora's Box, Pyramid etc., but unique mechanics were rare to come by. I think we currently have a lot more fun options and it can sometimes be worth it to pick up a card with a specific Ancient relic in mind (for example picking a Clone target for Pael or an Imbued target for Orobas in Act 1). What are your thoughts on this? Do you feel more rewarded after defeating an Act boss in the sequel or was it better in the first game?
