Are my standards low?

Are my standards low?

Idk my friends all said my standards are too low. Maybe they are snobbish because they are in an all girls Christian school, well I am too but idk.

They said he has to be hot, but like why??? I dont think it makes things better or worse.

Like is there anything I can be missing?

For context, I am 15f, does decently well at school, never been in any beef with other kids for years, likes talking to people, has a social life and Im a huge nerd with music, maths, chemistry and biology. I do have a bit of a bad family life, but hey, Asian parents, thats normal for our culture.

Guide on where to avoid on legs

A lot of people are quite ill informed on places on legs it seems. Therefore, here is a diagram on places to avoid in red, the yellow bits (major muscles) is just to indicate where the red markers are relative to the positions of the major leg muscles on thigh (could try feeling them out before cutting).

Another thing, make sure to avoid any visible veins on legs (especially thighs) if you cut deep styro, to avoid a lot of bleeding and blood getting everywhere to avoid a tedious clean up job.

Also, NEVER GO DEEP on INNER THIGHS there are a lot of major arteries and nerves there and causes permanent damage. Major Nerves are always next to major arteries.

Also, please take care and avoid cutting in the first place as always.

What are your interpretations of Clair de Lune?

I heard its inspired by a French poem called Clair de Lune about a masquerade of people singing about overwhelming love in a minor with a mask of happiness, though they are sad underneath. Its in the impressionism kind of style by Debussgly.

So, I think the general direction of the song needs to go in a melancholy and reflective way, with the notes sounding kind of blurry but like still gentle. And then in the arpeggio parts, I'll get the top notes in the melody to stick out.

Any other interpretations of this piece?

Guide on where to avoid on arms

Given the posts I see on here and other similar spaces on Reddit, Im just going to show a diagram on where to avoid sh, so tendons, arteries and nerves wouldn't likely be hit.

1st thing, when you see visible veins on arms, avoid it or you're going to end up with blood sporting everywhere. In addition, the nerves are usually next to major arteries so thats another reason why. Cut nerves will result in losing motor function and/or sensation in arm.

2nd thing. Avoid the areas highlighted in red because these areas dont have as much fat and lots of tendons underneath.

Another thing, just avoid joints overall. Cutting the skin on them will be very painful to heal because your joint will keep on shifting the skin around when its trying to heal.

Thats all. Please take care and remember people still care about you, even if they are just profiles pics and usernames.

P.S. would someone put this post like on the place with the posts on skin anatomy, online safety etc? I want to raise more awareness and help reduce the risk of permanent damage on people suffering from sh.

I got a really bad grades and was planning to split my arm open, but I convinced myself not to because the clean up afterwards is actually such a hassle and Im bloody busy.

Ohh my days. My dad keeps on telling me he is depressed. Acting irritated around me. He keeps on saying he wants to talk to me, but everytime I do I get so bloody mad at him its not even funny.

I've been recently spiraling, but I cant let my parents know. First, its gonna freak my mum out because she is living with us. Then, my dad is going to say, oh I cant deal with you two and being all depressed, and annoyed, so he will just resort to venting at me on top of my issues. That just makes shit worse.

This means that I also cant open up to my phsyciatrist or therapists because they will tell my dad. I really think there is a "bad" me in me and I need to cut a few veins so I can bleed out, in hopes of the "bad" me is going to come out along with the blood. So the good me trapped inside will take over. This is because when I make good decisions and with clarity its only after slitting me arms open. Also, if I do this, hopefully the voices and the shadows I see at door frames will also leave because it might be caused by the "bad" me. Ofc, my dad will disagree and freak out and try to get me locked up.

Okay, for context my mum is quite manipulative, I think this is rubbing off on my dad. They both manipulate by trying to make others guilty.
